Hell froze over when they released the Naj'sov and the Laeosa. I think all the complaing about the severe lack of T5/T6 science ships, specially for the KDF and Rom factions finally paid off and they're upgrading existing Fed T5 sci ships to cross faction T6 ships.
I imagine being Gorn that there will be no cloak, still wondering if they will have Aux Weapons, like the t5 Vesta. Likewise wondering about DHCs.
I don't expect it to have a cloak, and I don't really need one on this ship. It's sufficiently enough that the Klingon Naj'sov has one, that's all I ever wanted - a proper Klingon made science ship. And she looks great to boot.
But my KDF Joined Trill will enjoy the heck out of these once I have the resources to purchase them. She has been using the Varanus for ages now and she has become kinda' paired with Gorn ships in my mind, therefore this will fit right in.
I am hopeful about some of the Vesta signature auxiliary powered weapons.
That gives me hope that someday we will get T6 Orion FDCs and Vo'Quv.
Indeed, that's what I thought as well. We've had a Nausicaan representative at T6 for a while now and with the Gorn making a return at T6 it leaves only the Orions out of the KDF affiliated species that have starship manufacturing facilities without an upgrade to T6. But since Cryptic is clearly displaying the will to continue producing ships from the KDF affiliated species (something I feared might stop one the tiers were raised), I think that we will see Orion T6 ships as well. At least I hope so.
The Vo'Quv should be a no-brainer, it makes no sense that they left the original carrier manufacturing faction to be the only one without a proper carrier at T6, but hey - it's Cryptic and their relation with the KDF......I do hope they intend to fix that.
And for the glory of Gre'thor, a T6 Kar'fi!!!
I still don't understand why no new Vo'quv & Atrox yet.
I hypothesize that with two recent lockbox Romulan carriers, they dont wanna release another Rom carrier to go with fed & KDF.
Still deciding if I want to just get 1 Gorn ship or the 3pk, really depends on stats. Vesta never really did it for me on my fed, ended up with Nebula, Scryer, and Jupiter for Sci needs.
I am hoping with the lack of cloak, the Gorn ships will be more Tanky.
When I made my Gorn, was when the Temporal Destroyer and Temporal Science Vessel came out, always filled my Gorn Sci needs, until he moved onto a Paradox.
But I could definitely put one of my 3 Ferasan into one. My Ferasan Sci and Orion Eng lack dedicated them ships. I don't like using a ship on more than one character as their primary vessel, like them to all have a Primary & Secondary ship.
But I'll make a space for thisin my fleets. 7 KDF toons, between these and the 4 dyson ships, and other odds and ends, be pretty good for Science Admiralty.
Lukari vessel too, will bring another Admiralty Card.

Don't forget the T6 transition of Negh'Var, B'Rel, and Guramba.
Negh'Var was a wonderful surprise but B'Rel and Goomba hitting T6 was a lightning bolt out of the blue.
ill believe that when i get a GODDAM ferasan ship.
You and me both, been using Breen ships and the Jem HEC for my e Ferasans for a while now. I still have to grab at least one of the Gorn Ships though.
While I only have 1 Gorn, 2nd or 3rd character I ever made, 1st KDF, I've subsequently made 3 Ferasans, and 2 Reman. Heck my KDF main is an Andorian looking Alien, with my first character as. Fed, back when you had to start that way was Andorian.
I would like to see a bit more love for Ferasans, Orions. One of the Nausican Fish ships upgraded(what my Ferasans used while leveling).
As much as I don't like the idea of Feds in non-starfleet ships, exceptions for member species ships in these conflicting times would be befitting of an upgraded Variants ship, a Vulcan Science Academy Ship, a new Kumari.
Hell Honestly the Andorians were my Favorite part of Enterprise.
If they did a Enterprise Era Lockbox with a T6 Kumari & K'tanco I would be all over that like Tribbles in a cargo bay filled with poisoned grain.

This is the second time hell has frozen over already - don't forget that we actually have a Klingon Science Vessel already/finally!
Regarding the lack of a Vo'Quv - it share its fate with old Federation ships like the Luna, the Space Shoe or the Space Whale. I wonder if they looked at those ships and decided the models are in such a launch-disaster state still that it's not worth repairing?
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
While that's entirely possible, the fact remains they built the Feds a T6 carrier from the ground up. I would have been more than fine with a new KDF carrier that wasn't just a redo of the Voquv
Just wait till they release a T6 Orion ship! Then Grethor will really be fridgid. Makes sense that Grethor would be cold because Klingons rae more susceptible to the cold according to canon Trek.
Marauder never received even a Fleet Version in Tier 5. Hell will also freeze over if she gets to Tier 6, which I'd be down for. The "Giant Space Hamster" needs love also.
You can get a fresh release AAA title AND another budget title or around 10-20 titles in budget deals across Steam or GOG for 60 bucks. Decide for yourself if a "console bonus" is worth more than a boatload of full games to you
@OP I find it interesting that they released Gorn ships with this bundle and I really like the Gorn heavy shuttle pet. On the other hoof, the ships look really dull and those three-packs are a bad deal in my opinion, as they essentially sell one ship for the price of two (6000zen isntead of 3000) - you can only use one but you need all three (and the event ship) to really profit from it. That'd be a grind too tedious in my opinion.

I'd be totally down for that as well. My Orion sci only uses Orion ships, so I'd love that. Although, if I had to choose, I'd go with a T6 Dacoit myself. I love the looks on that one and I have a feeling it would sell better due to better overall looks.
I have to say I am really enjoying the ship, it could very well join my Mat'ha as Ship i use on multiple toons.
I would have gotten the Klingon Science ship if it had DHC would have gotten that, but this ship feels really nice with beams.
I just grabbed the Naj'Sov during the sale and I grabbed the last KDF bridge pack I was missing - the Negh'Var bridges. The Reclaw bridge looks very sciency (but Klingon sciency with holographic projections of red planets and moons with Klingon alphabet all over them) and fits like a glove on this ship if you disregard the small Negh'var MES on the left side of the bridge.
So far I'm loving the ship, she's really good and the design looks awesome. The Material 4 combination really works wonders on this one. I'm enjoying the hell out of the Naj'sov atm and as the first proper Klingon science ship in the history of STO I love it as much as my main Klingon character who is my first Klongon to be created during LoR when we finally got full faction experience and progression from level 1.

TBH, maybe with a handful of exceptions, the T6 consoles and especially console sets seem very unintuitive and out of place for me. The T5 consoles and set made sense, most of the T6 don't make sense to me in terms of the role and design of the ship they came with. Case in point T6 Flagships and T6 Vestas.

not the reason. In a way, this is kind of a trolling thing. The Tier Six Varanus has the same problems that kept the Tier 5 Varanus from selling well, but this time it's bundled with good ships for the other two factions. a "GOOD" Vo'Quv or Kar'fi would sell well at tier six, Hence, they won't be made. Haven't you noticed? the new 'paradigm' is to give KDF releases a half point or greater gimp to turn rates and maintain the cloaking tax on shields-even on ships that don't cloak.
It also has more hull:
38,000 at level 60 (Vesta)
40.000 at level 60 (Gorn)
You think half a point of turn rate and half of a tenth of a point of shield modifier is making a difference in effectiveness for these ships that cannot be compensated by 2.000 more points of hull?
And the Gorn get a completely new fighter pet with new model on top of that. Not a mechanical benefit (probably, haven't really checked the pet stats), but definitely some extra effort for the modelling department.
EDIT: Looked at the pet: Torpedo Spread on the Elite version might be interesting.

That's my favorite part about them. I loved when the Kolasi got new Nausicaan fighters and I love that the Gorn science ships have gotten a proper Gorn fighter. It might not be a big deal to some, but to me it's very important to keep things thematic - it supplements my gaming experience. I would have never gotten a Kolasi had it been forced to use fighters designed by other species.

I only got the Kolasi because I wanted the Yamato and Kara, didn't expect to like the Kolasi as much as I do.
That said unless it is a very Specific Federation ship (Heavy Cruiser, New Orleans, or the Luna) I have sufficient ships for my three Federation characters, grabbing fleet upgrades not withstanding. I pretty much feel the same about my 3 Romulans, could possibly use one more ship but not immediately.

Good point. Still Gre'thor though.
But you're right, if there was ever a time to roll a KDF or a Romulan science Captain, it's now.
