"My God,man! A T6 NX issued before a T6 Miranda! Are you out of your vulcan MIND?"

You have to say it like McCoy, and mean it! I have a number of people in my fleet that have been waiting years. You know the Miranda Class went through a refit in canon. The guys I know are starting to feel like a nerd on the beach, where the volleyball jocks pin them down and continually kick sand in their face. The T6 Miranda Class Multipurpose Escort - think about it! It is a Sci- Escort e3 s5 t3, an Eng - Escort e5 s3 t4 , or Just your run-of-the-mill Heavy Escorts 5fwd, 3rear, (e4 s3 t5) with double the shielding in the front on the Eng/Tac. The Sci comes with a Outlandish console - like one that launches a Grav-well IV every 45 seconds, and a tac trait the cuts the refresh time on weapons by 3/4.
But the key here is to throw these guys a bone. They've been waiting, hopelessly waiting.
Think about it!

They can get in line behind @reyan01 as he's been waiting for a T6 Nova for quite a bit longer.

We'll see. Thing is, the Miranda was never the Hero Ship in the shows or movies.

If they can come to an agreement with Mark Rademaker such as they did with the Vesta and have this be the T6 hull, then I'm all in!!!

PvP is like that. Khan was clearly P2W and had all of the lockbox traits available at the time while Kirk was getting old and probably forgot to even slot Inspirational Leader.

Khan was devious, so he probably messed up Kirk's keybinds before the fight.

No just no... Unlike the NX-Refit that was slated for the next season before Enterprise was killed there is no real canon T-6 Miranda refit. And the T-6 Matt Jefferies Constitution, D-7, and Bird of Prey are more in line to what those ships could do in the TOS series so they are not really refits. And in the game to be blunt the refit T-5 to T-6 versions are more in line to the games story lines then a T-6 Miranda (A starter ship to begin with) would be. I like what they have been doing with the few T-6 refits and retro looking new designs. More of these then refitting t-1 ships please.

      Since when are tiers canon?

If the last year has proven anything to us, money talks.

Probably happened in that episode where the temporal scientists realized the best temporal stealth technology was to make their timeships physically appear era-appropriate.

I kinda consider the Mirandas to be the Red shirts of the fleet. I mean how many Mirandas bit the dust during the Dominion War? Sisko even had one shot out from underneath him at Wolf 359. Assigned to a Miranda? Get to the escape pods! :D

In the game ship tiers have always been canon to the game. Yes money talks and a for profit business is foolish to ignore who makes them money. There is a very old saying "Money talks and BS walks." . A good example of this one thing Trump (like him or hate him I don't care) did with the F-35 program. He said this is TRIBBLE that the per unit cost is so high and told Lockheed Martin reduce the cost or else. Well with the DOD holding the wallet and talking the talk Lockheed Martin magicly figured out that a 3/4 of a billion price reduction was a doable. Like I said money talks both in the game and in real life.

I always though the Luna-Class was a spiritual successor of the Miranda-Class.

I can see that, but I think the Akira and Nebula fall in that line as well.

That said a T6 Luna would get me to open my wallet, much faster than say a Vesta. Luna or Rhode Island as Pilot ships would be very nice indeed.

The idea of a T6 Miranda is simply ridiculous. As said before, it's the 'red shirt' of the fleet.. the garbage they send into the battle to draw fire off the good ships. People think that just because you see them on screen in current Star Trek that it was somehow refit and turned into some awesome fighting machine.. it's scrap.

Now, while the idea of a T6 version is asinine and completely stupid.. so is the idea of a T6 Connie and the dumbest thing ever.. a T6 NX class. With that in mind, I'm absolutely certain that a T6 Miranda is on the horizon. It might not make any sense, but we're talking about a game where everyone in Star Fleet is an Admiral flying around in Iconian ships the size of a small moon.

What makes sense is irrelivant, if they think it will sell, they'll make it. That doesn't mean it isn't stupid though. Just keep making noise and eventually your completely nonsensical request will be fulfilled.

Actually, I'd like to see a T6 Miranda as a true multi purpose ship with either all universal seating, or a 3-pack with one setup as an Escort, one a Cruiser, and one a Science Vessel.

I used to completely oppose the T6 Miranda, but now that we're this far down the rabbit hole with old ships at T6 I no longer oppose it.

While I personally don't think it makes sense, they should do it just so those that want them can fly them. We have abandoned common sense a long time ago, might as well focus on making people happy.

If people want it, let them have it.

Id love to see it and the pioneer get a "Utility Cruiser" treatment, with a pair of universals and two different spec, then like one tac, one eng, one sci. but all of em like lt or ltCmdr so it doesnt really have a 'specialty'
Im sure no one would want this cause it wouldnt min/max the dps charts but I think itd be nice as an actual 'jack of all, master of none'

That was my general idea. It wouldn't specialize in any one role, but could be useful in any role.

T6 Miranda as the Federation's Bird of Prey (all universal seats)...? I can see it :). Gives it a nice little niche.

I personally think that they should take some time and redo all of the starter ships. They're the first thing that new players see that represent the art and feel of the game, and they all look really rough compared to the beautiful work that has been done on the majority of the higher tier ships. I'm in favor of putting your best foot forward.

      Hero Ship > DS9 Jem'Hadar fodder.

Wouldn't mind a Tier 6 version of the Miranda and its variant (and a new variant, and a model overhaul), though.

If you're talking about the Miranda and not Nebula, why would you want it?

In ds9, during the Dominion war, they were all destroyed immediately. I mean, some of them we f**ked up. I asked why they were still using a ship from the Wrath of Khan days?

When watching ds9, I began to see the Miranda as the red shirt crewman on ToS. If I saw that ship, I was like, "Oh, they're gonna die."

      On a side note:
Why did Starfleet have Mirandas kicking around to use in the Dominican war but no Constitution classes? I think the producers felt the audience wouldn't like to see the "Enterprise" get slaughtered. Starfleet must have had a ton of these ships kicking around and thought, "Why not use thsee against the Jem'Hadar? It'll get rid of these finally and make some room."

I think Thomas should remodel the miranda and constitution refit. The miranda has at least 3 vivid versions seen on screen. (the one with no role bar and cool side canons/arrays, as well as reliant & saratoga)

When they give a t6 remodeled miranda and connie refit they can release the original movie bridge pack thst can be used on any tos era movie era ship. Including excelsior and ambassador class.

I personally dont care much for mirandas but people love them and we need more true to trek ships flying around.

I was always under the impression that Constitution class was a limited recourse (only 12 were build) while Miranda were left over in the 24c from mass production. I also think that Strafleet almost lost the Dominon war so each and every ship, no matter how old, was thrown at the protection of the Federation.
