A token to unlock one lobi/lockbox/promo ship account-wide. Said token should be BoA to force people to open packs for it, and cost somewhere between 450 and 900 Lobi. Maybe have 3 different versions (lobi store/lockbox/promo) with a scaling price.
Yes, I said "Phonics" knowing full well it's "Phoenix."

How is it we can only buy junk with latinum, which is most prized, but all the good stuff is from Lobi, which was a junk jem used to scam unsuspecting visitors in Canon? Are they trying to tell us something?
Really, I'd rather just pay the Zen price for what Cryptic calculates an item should be worth, rather than having to buy Zen, buy keys, gather boxes, open boxes, save up Lobi... I can count the number of Lobi items I've bought over the years on one hand, mostly because the hassle makes it hard to part with, but couldn't count the number of $5/500 Zen transactions if I got my whole family's hands and feet together to count with. Never mind the bigger transactions like ships...
Yeah, less stuff in the Lobi Store, please.

Well, it's ALL junk in the Latinum store. I haven't looked at that stuff in years. Waste of time. Which makes playing Dabo a waste of time for the most part.
Lobi has some good stuff. Sucks that Lobi is bound and untradeable. Then again it's part of their whole "Buy zen, go C-Store, buy keys, open lockboxes, get Lobi, buy stuff you can't get anywhere else in Lobi store that no one knows about because it doesn't always get mentioned" business model.
Same thing happens with the Omega game. It takes 2997 Particle traces to equal 999 Silver, both of which give you exactly the same amount of Upgrades - 37. Nearly makes collecting the traces not worth the effort. Not to mention, if you try doing the maximum amount of crafting upgrades all at once, it'll take that R&D Project 5 days to complete. It's a all just a Resource/currency sink. (but the upgrades ARE nice...)
I have a sh*t ton of Phoenix Upgrades so I am not that concerned with the Omegas. Notice in the Calendar that there are TWO Upgrade Weekends in the February time frame.

I was trying to find one of the game designer threads... But since I can't make a post right away, I just wanted to say. You guys rock! The gameplay is fun. The graphics are awesome! Great work on the graphics. I love visiting the Fleet's dilithium mine. ^_^ The view is just breathtaking. And the look of the nebulae. Awesome! Even the graphics on the planets are pristine! It makes this game only second to WOW! Which is pretty huge in itself! Kudos to the graphic designer! Keep up the great work. X-D
Lobi is a catch-22. When push comes to shove, the only reason the lobi store exists is because lobi crystals are the ONLY item absolutely 100% guaranteed to drop when opening a lock box, and that is all lock boxes are in essence - at least four lobi crystals + prize(s).
I'd say, when push comes to shove, the only reason the lobi store exists is because lobi crystals are the ONLY item absolutely 100% guaranteed to have you open lock boxes. So, if you want like a Tachyo, you *will* need to open boxes, with no way to get them for EC or any other means.
Nothing as well. The lobi store doesn't give the same return as the z store. If I have to buy keys to get lobi and then grind through tons of boxes just for one item for one character I may as well go play another game. At least with the Z store stuff is account wide and I can enjoy it more readily. Working towards something is one thing but if I burn out by the time I get there it really isn't worth it since I'll be to wiped out to enjoy it or bother to use it on something else I have to grind it out for again.
Yep those hats would be mine, let it be 100 Lobi or a mil Dil each!
Hmm. Think your math is a bit off.
Let's see.
At current prices, one key goes for 106 zen (temporarily reduced price) or roughly 31,800 Dil (at 300 Dil per 1 Zen) or 5,395,000 credits on the exchange.
If you get say 4 Lobi (lucky!) per box, and the price is 100 Lobi, then you need at least 25 boxes for the right about of Lobi.
Your Price for that item based on each type of currency would be:
1. 100 Lobi ............(25 boxes + 25 keys)
2. 2,650 Zen ..........(at 300 Dil per 1 Zen)
3. 795,000 Dil
4. 134,875,000 Credits
or something like that. So 1 mil Dil? Close enough.
(was thinking it'd be higher for some reason)

It is not absolute. Infinity and select lock boxes, featuring a grand-grand-prize/"ultra rare" ship drop, have them tied as a random chance to drop instead of lobi. If you win that ship, you get no lobi from that lock box.

Hats. Lots of hats. Of all kinds.
I want a proper British bowler to use on my Andorian SciGuy.
My KDF Tac would look verah keweI wearing a ballcap with the Firefly logo.(Josh Wheadon FTW!)
But most of all, I long to place a US Cavalry Stetson, complete with crossed sabers, on my Rom Eng and his Away Team.

Bad idea. If you look at my last few posts, you'll see that putting anything in the Lobi store will cost someone a hell of a lot more for that item than it does if its in the C-Store. It's roughly a 300:1 difference in currency with Zen the 300 and Lobi the 1.

Actually make it two four piece sets: one with an Obsidian Order theme and the other with a Central Command theme.
Can only imagine what some of these captains have to smell like after 7 years without a shower... crammed into a small space...

On a more serious note, why not add some emotes to the lobi store? I'm wary of things like auras, having seen what's happened to Team Fortress 2.
