Dropped $200 in zen, logged in to game, no one-time supply drop of 4x R&D Packs anywhere.

    Same issue. I bought the zen and used more than 10k of it, but no bonus R&D promo packs received. I've tried logging in and out and changed maps, then checked every tab in the zen store just to be certain.

    I submitted a GM ticket on this same issue. Was I not suppose to inform this of this error that way?

    I spent $100.00 US and was not rewarded the 4x R&D. I saved my purchase ticket number if it is needed to verify this too.

    Go back and re read the blog. You will not get the pack until AFTER the event has ended.

    Promo Summary

    Spend Reward Promo Starts: 12/9/16 @ 930am PT

    Spend Reward Promo Ends: 12/12/16 @ 10am PT

    Reward Delivery: 12/12/16 – 12/16/16

    You might even have to wait till the 16th to get it.

    I hope cryptic doesn't send it via C-Store promotion menu. There I received a "one-time" R&D box years ago.

    You would have probably had to view the promotion tab during the 9th - 12th timeframe; however, only after you spent the required amount of ZEN. If you did spend that amount of zen and it did not show up during that time in the promotion tab or is not showing now then you may want to TRY logging a support ticket.

    Another person above indicated it may require waiting till the 16th but 12/12/16 is in MM/DD/YY format which is the international date standard for the United States. :)

    Hope that helps... The one time R&D box would be a separate promotion from the 4x R&D boxes with the possibility of a T6 Infinity Ship.

    I will keep checking the promotions tab every day, and after the 16th I will submit a ticket if nothing shows up.

    No I'd submit the support ticket now. The promotion ended on the 12/12/16 MM/DD/YY as I identified.

    I tried putting in a ticket in game under "Request GM Support," but when I viewed "My Tickets" nothing showed up.

    Still have not got mine on the 22nd :-( Paid €99 for 12100 Zen. Put in a support ticket on the website.

    I am in the same boat, I spent the Zen and still haven't got anything.

    I'm putting a ticket in, seems the only course possible here.

    Same problem here. They replied to my ticket saying that they have no idea on when it will be fixed.

    Of course this incident is definitively tampering with my trust in arc games, if this will not be solved *VERY* quickly I will discontinue my very long and generous support to the game as well as ask for refund.

    I received a reply asking for my character name, but they did confirm it should appear in the promotions tab.

    This concerns me bit from qxykry ...

    That is just not right as the whole point of the promotion was to get people to spend a good US$100\€99 to get the packs.

    This must be fixed before I spend another cent on this game.

    Hello,

    Thank you for updating us.

    Upon checking, the reason why you did not receive the R&D Pack is because you don't have any purchases in game during the promotion period which is from December 9-12, 2016. In order for you to qualify for that promo you should spend 10,000 Zen in game. Let me know if you have further questions.

    And my reply, reported for the sake of completeness.
    That's cheating. The promotion was clear stating that "when you spend $100 USD worth of Zen on an account (10,000 Zen) in Star Trek Online". The "$100 USD" is the object of the verb "spent", not the "Zen". If you have written something wrong is not a problem of mine. your promotion clearly states that you have to spend real money ($100 USD or an equivalent value), there is no hint about what to do with the Zen or when to spent them.

    Therefore my only conclusion is that you are cheating on purpose.

    You will be certainly able to verify how much and how many times I have financially supported the game, on the other hand I feel very disappointed by this unlawful and regrettable behaviour, therefore, due to this strong violation of my trust, I will not continue to support this game and your business in the future.

    Just received a similar reply, pointing out the fine print from their perspective, and have replied with similar displeasure. Amazing they want to tick off the paying players over 4xR&D packs.
    If I do not get my packs that is the last cent I will be spending on this game. I have two accounts, both LTMs.
    I have tons of Dilithium, but thought what the heck, its Christmas and lets spend the money and see if we get lucky with the R&D packs. Never again!

    Same here, the money I've spent in the years were only given as a support for the game and the developers... I don't give a damn for funny ships or other in-game amenities... It was only a way to support them.

    But in this case it is a matter of honesty and trust. It's simply cheating with an unfair and unlawful behaviour.

    Finally, indeed, they are doing this stupid thing just for 4 R&D packs???? Really?? So blind businness??

    If you will read the whole sentence, it states that "Starting Friday, December 9, 2016, when you spend $100 USD worth of Zen on an account (10,000 Zen) in Star Trek Online, you’ll be rewarded with a one-time supply drop of 4x R&D Packs, claimable by one character of your choice in the account!". The $100 USD only means that if you purchase it, you will have an equivalent of 10,000 Zen and you will be eligible to get the rewards if you will spend 10,000 worth of Zen in C-store. Also, even if you don't purchase $100 USD and you only acquire your Zen through Exchange you are still eligible on this promo as long as you spend 10,000 worth of Zen in C-store. Please be informed that spend rewards and charge rewards are both different worlds.

    My answer(2):
    This is a Lie. Read the forum: people that have spent 10.000 Zen on the C-Store, acquired with other means instead of real money, weren't rewarded.

    Maybe this is an hopeless try to rationalize an *UNLAWFUL* behavior. I say *UNLAWFUL* because cheating with advertizing is against the law, as well as against the trust of the customers.

    It is a point of principle, I don't care about 4 R&D packs in game, as well as I don't care for all the in-game amenities and stuff I bought during the years with Zen I bought with real money. I've done that only in order to support you, your company and the game.

    Instead of having thankful and respectful attitude towards your supporters, I feel you are playing dirty games also by using uncomplete and inprecise advertising, as well as answering with lies.

    You should realize, instead, how much blindness characterizes your business plan .

    As a matter of facts, I will not spend a cent more in zen on in any other game from Arc.

    I got the response below. Not sure what the "understanding" part is all about. I sent them a very course response, asking for escalation and resolution, otherwise they not receive a cent from me after this. Real nice way of saying thank you for years of support.

    Like you, not sure why they want to tick off the paying customers over R&D packs.

    We understand your frustration regarding the Event promo but unfortunately, the only way that the account will be qualified is that if there are In-game purchases for items etc done in the game within the dates given. We advise you to kindly review the link provided for it explains there that you need to "spend $100 USD worth of Zen on an account (10,000 Zen) in Star Trek Online", meaning you have to purchase any in game products using Zen for you to be part for the program.

    We know that not being able to get the 4XR&D packs has a major impact on your game experience, and we regret that we were unable to do much for you in this case.

    Thanks again for contacting us. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
