And I second the request for up-trading capability. Turning in ten Uncommons for a gamble that will most likely get you one Uncommon is a serious tarnish on an otherwise shining idea.

There was a re-run event (one that gives the shard, among other things) this summer, so that's probably why they aren't in the box.
Only thing I need from it is the red matter capacitor and some of the uncommons, but for new players this is a gold mine.
And extra bonus points for not "retiring" the old Chel Grett like you did the T5 Galor and Jem'hadar ships. That's still a good admiralty card even if the ship itself is the same as the T6.

The Elachi Kit Module - Subspace Rift is a reward on the first play-through of "What's Left Behind'. Checked one of my Characters that has not done that Episode yet and it still appears, unless they mean to get rid of it tomorrow. Perhaps the Kobali Outfit instead.
The Type 8 Shuttle is in the Ship Vendor Store.
They should also make that Automated Defense Turret upgradeable.
The Subspace Rift kit module is not available in the Redemption store because it is available from a mission. This is an error with the blog.

The Support Cruiser Retrofit was also given away another time as an account unlock in the C-Store. However, people who weren't around for either of those events can't get it. And the Kamarag Battlecruiser Retrofit remains unobtainable on any character created after the 3-Year Anniversary Event.

I just blew all my Dill on over 250+ Boxes and Got NOTHING. Since they are not account bound anymore make it so the tokens can be upgraded, not only down graded... Many people are pissed at ESD right now.
Overall, the drop rates make an already underwhelming main prize even less worthy of the effort. For that much dilithium, I'd expect to get the account-wide unlock on at least the event ships.
On the bright side, the tech upgrades look okay, and the dilithium exchange is plummeting.
Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.
Looked at the right way, it's a no-lose game, as long as you don't convert green tokens back into boxes: what you're basically doing is converting your dil into pre-paid standard purple upgrades at a slightly favourable rate with a chance to win something nice on top.
I planned to keep some of my dil for zen trading, but with that in mind there may be a point in just sinking it all (I traded most of it away before the BF thou...)
Was plummeting (430 Tuesday to 400 yesterday to 300 post-patch), but it's already back up to 330, presumably because people are discovering the miniscule odds of getting a UR or Epic prize from the pack (<0.2% according to my count so far). I still think it's a nice deal for the Uncommon prize choices, but not enough to sustain that 30% Dil price drop.

You can also get it on DS9.... Which is at least transwarpable, and then transwarp back to ESD via the event banner.

if you did the original event, you got an unlock and can reclaim... this box only gives you the item... ITEM ONLY.
if you discard then say good bye to it.
