How is it? I haven't got it yet. Is it worth switching from the Endeavour Class to it?

Opinions may vary, but comparing the Endeavour to the basic Archon-class, I'm going to have to say no. HOWEVER, compared to the Fleet Archon Assault Cruiser, I'd say yes, it is worth the switch based on the fact that you get an Intel slot which gives you access to Override Subsystem Safeties, which is nice if you're running a BFAW build and Plasmonic Leech. Plus unlike the Endeavour, if you get all 3 consoles (from the Vizier, Archon and Regent vessels) you get to battle cloak your Assault Cruiser. Having two pieces equipped gives you a bonus to turn rate and directed energy damage. Both the Regent and Archon come with that fancy Wide Angle Quantum Torpedo Launcher that allows you to fire quantum torpedoes at a target while broadsiding if that's what your cup of tea is.
On top of all of this, it turns better than the Endeavour, and it has one more Engineering console and one less Science console with the fleet version. There's also the additional shield and hull health.
Other than that, that's about it.

Dreadnought class. Two times the size, three times the speed. Advanced weaponry. Modified for a minimal crew. Unlike most Federation vessels, it's built solely for combat.
but if, like myself, looks are important, the archon is really good considering I'm compromising for looks.
No seriously, the fact that you can put SSO3 on it makes it really good. If it is better than the endeavour is a big "?"
I like the fact that "the best looking ship" is a competitive fed cruiser now.
As a General rule the 'Iconic' ships from the shows and movies are usually inferior stat wise to the 'Cryptic made' ships. They bank on the iconic appeal being enough to sell the famous ships and package their own creations with the more optimal layouts. The exception here is the Romulan side where two cannon ships (Mogai and Scimitar) are two of the best ships in the game.
You don't pick up a Sovereign to improve performance, you pick it up because it's a Sovereign and that's what you want to fly.

It really comes down to what you're looking for. If you are looking for looks and dps output, I would said the Archon, I own the Archon and still loving it, but if you're looking for DPS output purely, I would go with endeavor.

Knowing you, you'd be sarcastic about it. Why don't you read the question before answering. I did not ask about "problems" with it. I asked is it "worth it" to switch.
The Archon is an overall decent ship with a bit of a Tactical lean for a cruiser. The lt. Commander Universal/specialist seat would kinda lean more towards Science as there is no dedicated sci station, but still affords some flexability if you want. If you've flown a Guardian, you can easily convert your Guardian build into an Archon.
Short version: It all comes down to who's flying her and how you set her up.
