The Sovereigns are better off without any of those consoles, much less stuffing 3 consoles with very questionable abilities and terrible bonuses to achieve Battle Cloak.
Hmmm... if only I also had a build that I actually used seriously and one that I just have fun with... oh wait... I do.
No one is suggesting that the 3 piece set actually get used seriously... its a horrible set for anything serious, but amazing to just derp around with.
It's a garbage set with garbage consoles with garbage bonuses. These consoles, the set, the benefits are about as useful as stuffing +Torpedo damage consoles on a pure-beamboat.
I think the better question is that even if this does get a reprint, will the reprint continue to come with the code for the free T6 Sovereign? That part of the Attack Wing might just be limited to the first printing.
Edit: Also this is pretty lame because I intended to ask for this as a potential Xmas gift. The the price has become that atrocious though then it clearly is no longer worth it.
So... a hybrid Uni/Intel is superior to a Uni/Command? O...k... don't see how that is so "superior".
The difference comes from there being very different pools of abilities those seats open up. Override Subsystem Safeties and Surgical strikes are awesome. A couple others have enormous entertainment and harassment value. Command you've got... uh, um... hmm. Stuff. I guess. Overwhelm Emitters and Concentrate Firepower, mostly. Even Borticus has commented NOBODY actually uses Command's power level buff Reroute Power from Life Support.
Fact is people groan when a much desired ship ends up having Command seating. It's the single greatest strike against the T6 temporal connie. The lack of desirable/competitive command abilities is on my short list to try and get some open dialogue going with the devs.

Lets suppose for a moment the marketing folks over at the multimillion dollar juggernaught that is wizkids aren't complete morons and they realize that the reason it outsold their projections 2.5 to 1 is that code. There is literally NO reason to produce more of those figures without it.
I mean sure, they could, but no one here will buy them and thanks to the internet word will get around the entire planet in under 15 minutes if they don't include a code.
Its really just not something that needs to be worried about - they either get it right, or they don't.

Youre still talking like anyone expects the set or the consoles to be seriously used... no one here has suggested they are. But for a I wasnt to derp around in system patrols and have fun they are perfect.

I believe Suppression Barrage or whatever its called is also a useful ability on the Command line.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

Just because Intel is chock full of OP powers doesn't mean Command isn't worth running.
Concentrate firepower: great for torpedo builds.
Overwhelm emitters: good for beamboats.
Suppression barrage: good for support builds.
Rally point: so ridiculously OP good for heal builds I literally can't even
Damage isn't everything in this game. And even if it was, if Intel is seriously that good then it's the very definition of 'unbalanced.'

Speak for yourself. I desperately want a T6 Luna and Hegh'ta with Command hybrid seating because I can think of cool builds to try out with them and there's no science vessel or bird-of-prey with command seating that I'm aware of.

Suppression Barrage is excellent. I'm thrilled I can use it on my T6 Temporal Connie. That ship is stupidly OP if I'm honest, there are no strikes against using it.
"I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am."
It's the single greatest strike against the T6 temporal connie.
The T6 Temporal Connie has Temporal seating. It's pretty amazing. Even at whatever the 1.5 billion or so asking price it's frozen at. Yeah, there's command seating option on the Lt. Commander, but I mean, it's a Universal Boff seat, it's really not that big a deal. And the Temporal seating on the commander slot more than outpaces everything else you can use on that ship with its build.
So if you build for beams, you likely aren't going to care about the command seating. If you build for Torpedoes, well Command helps with that.
The T6 Heavy Command Kevlin Timeline Too Many Modifiers Connie has command seating though.
Wizkids store search engine only showed 4 stores within 25 miles of me.
All the stores didn't know what I was talking about except for one and they said they had carried it, discontinued it, carried it again and then discontinued it again.
I was tracking one of the ships on eBay and it was up to a hundred and seventy-five dollars when the dealer I originally ordered it from last month contacted me by email and said that it was coming.
It's like the T6 Connie, if you really want this it's worth the money to pay for it in case the short stocking prevents you from getting one.
Bought a house once where one of the bedrooms looked like they had painted the walls with a cat. Seriously, clumps of fur in the paint, really odd "brush strokes" too. Sadly, it wasn't the worst paint job in the house.

Yeah, I'm not sure what it takes to be listed on their site as someone who carries their product, but when I was calling around for mine, I was surprised at how many didn't know what I was talking about. Took me over half a dozen calls in a 50 mile radius to score my ship.

Got mine the day it came out. Only 1 store in my entire state had one. Got lucky, I guess. Rockin it right now. Downfall is, the discounted cost doesnt apply. Costs 5 fleet ship modules. Eh, its whatever. I have the fleet intel version, which is better imho.
