update never finishes

so when i try and run Arc it checks for a update starts a download and never finishes errors and then asks me to try again after a good dozen times and trying to download a new version of Arc that checks for update and does not finish and asks me to try again and figured i come to tech support and hope

so looked at the read me first
i did the Tracert average times were 50 to 77 as it says anything under 100 is great figured good on that and dont need to post it here

on the Nettest timed out as the read me first post is 2 years old don't know if the nettest.exe is working as it should

    found the ArcRepair ran it fixed things and works now

    i found it by right clicking the ARC icon then open location scrolled a little ways and found the application ArcRepair
