Admiralty Event idea

every episode arc or some mission in each arc could give admiralty card's during this event.
(doomsday device ,hassan's shuttle ,jabberwocky - those old bajoren fighters ...)

each reputation store could sell admiralty card's during the event.

it would be nice to get a rom ship from temporal ambassador.

aoy toons could get a epic tos ship. and for deltas's some unique card's

Admiralty was designed to benefit those who had acquired ship's through CSTORE, Lockboxes, DILITHIUM (@PORT to expand various Tier 1-5 TAC, ENG or SCI ships) or other methods like EC off the exchange.

Still there are LOTS options if you are aware of them... From time to time a few missions have been released that can earn 1x use Rare or Very Rare Admiralty ship(s) to complete missions and while they are one time usage ships some rewards are able to be claimed in REPLAY. Also some admiralty missions with events will award sometimes 1-3 1x usage admiralty ships to help you complete future missions. In addition to this also earning level 10 in each Admiralty faction award's an EPIC Admiralty Ship each which includes different bonus's to different starship trait's if you read their traits &/or event modifiers.

Further to this: Three time's a year every Captain gain's the opportunity during the Summer, Winter & Anniversary event's to earn a new star ship with unique trait's/consoles:

Winter Event starts every year in December with Q and using the gifts of the Continuum grants you a new Starship for all Character's provided one Captain completes the event. You may then RECLAIM the starship thru the EVENT : STORE : Reclaim TAB found on the same window as your Captain's Reputation System.

Anniversary Event usually starts in early-mid February and a current ONLINE vote just occured to choose the new Lukari Ship design that will be offered as part of the event which usually runs in Feb/March timeframe.

Summer event is available in June & July so watch for news & check your in game calendar for events every month. Clicking HAIL on your MINIMAP, then from the Overview tab, select Calendar to see what's occuring this month.

Level 60 Captain's within FUTURE PROOF "TIME & TIDE" get an Admiralty Reward Pack which not only rewards a 1x usage Admiralty Card similar to a limited # of past missions but it also includes the EPIC Temporal Well SCI Vessel that accompanies you on the mission as a permanent reward for Captain's who complete it.

A recent Mirror Invasion event awarded a permanent EPIC Admiralty ship card "Slaadi" a Mirror Enterprise Dreadnought, provided you collected the required # of event currency (14-15) for each Captain who wanted the item during the 3-4 weeks the event ran.

We also have a Crystaline Event starting very soon so watch for news of that event's reward available in the immediate future.

    Yup...Admiralty = pay to win.

They need to keep adding more Admiralty cards for casuals on the F2P plan, like me. LOL!

Maybe cross faction the one-use ships so there is a larger pool of stats to get to there....uh...for KDF and Rom, anyways. I really don't have the luxury of "saving" my one-use cards because I have to use them.

Or they could add T1-4 One Use cards instead of restricting them to T5 and up...
But I like the idea of more storyline-based ship cards as well. Think of it; a Vaadwaur ship for completing the mission with the Vaadwaur refugees, a Tereshnova Small Craft card for completing (oh, forgot the mission name; the one that starts the Iconian War arc), an LSS Concordium card for the current arc, or a USS Kirk card, an IKS Seg'pa or Batlh card, etc.

^Words that every player should keep in mind, especially whenever there's a problem with the game...

I agree with Garak. There should be more ways to earn admiralty ships, even if they would be lower tier and/or without epic abilities. They would be nice to have. I have mixed feeling on the Romulan Temporal Ambassador ship idea. On the one hand, it would be nice to have all factions represented in that mission reward. On the other hand, as it is, you get to have a Romulan flying a KDF/Fed ship for free. (I like giving them green paint jobs.) Also, the Temporal Ambassador reward ship is the same for both factions, but with different looks. Would a low tier Romulan ship without a cloak or singularity make sense?

@where2r1 Remember that you don't have to have a 100% chance to succeed in a mission in order to attempt it. I recommend that you save your disposable ships for the "tour of duty" assignments, as they yield some great rewards. And don't forget to buy a shuttle with EC, if you haven't yet. PM me if you need any admiralty advice/tips.

i have not seen where i need admiralty in order to progress my character or say "lol nope you need a specific card behind a paywall" Admiralty is a nice resource generator for people and even then you can get everything minus the level 10 rewards in the game. Does having C-Store ships help? yes but you also can get a great amount of ships from the Exchange that can do the job ya need.

Many ships as I can see your aware neos472 of at all levels (1-5) offer different boost which is why I tried encourageing them to consider buying a few DIL ships or exploring options on the exchange as you also eluded to. Even a small Type 8 shuttle's / runabout's can either boost all Starship Stats (ENG/TAC/SCI) by +10 for every ship (not small craft) or reduce maintenance time by 25%.

I was very surprised by the reaction. When I said, "Admiralty was designed to benefit those who had acquired ship's through CSTORE, Lockboxes, DILITHIUM, or other methods like EC off the exchange." There are many options identified there to greatly expand your admiralty fleet & even ship's you can fly. I also tried to identify options through various events that are already available in game to make sure they were aware of them. As you eluded to many mirror T5 Ships on the exchange and some T5U capable ships like Tholian Meshweaver, Kazon Raider or others can regularly be acquired for 2m-5m Energy Credit depending on the time of day or how lucky one is..

Perhaps someone needs to talk to Jay Yim & investigate Tour the Galaxy?
I'm sure everyone has the odd bad day or get's a little frustrated or overwhelmed, there is a lot to discover and learn about the game which is challenging. :o

Pay to win what exactly? Who are you competing against? Answer:Nothing and no-one!

I am talking about playing and beating the game to "win" anything in Admiralty, you need to be able to do more assignments. To do more assignments, you need to have ships. Or have access to them.

IN order to have ships you need to buy them....with "something".

I am not talking about the P2W associated with "winning" the PVE DPS race, I don't get involved with this.

I am not talking about the P2W associated with "winning" the PvP power creep race, either. Though PvP seems interesting...in no way can I keep up with younger folks.

We all play this game in different ways. Just because YOU don't think buying ships just for playing Admiralty is an issue.... doesn't mean the same thing to me.
