0xc0000142 "Can not start" error

The arc launcher will start, but the STO patcher will not. It gives me a "This program failed to start properly (Error 0xc0000142)" message.

    I've been having the same issue across the board with all Arc games

    If you have an Nvidia graphics card, and the software that goes with it, if you reinstall the GeForce Experience and the graphics card drivers, it could help remedy the issue.

    Nope, I had to completely wipe STO and start over.
