Forcing game to crash when loading

I've had to do this several times, now. I've gone and updated drivers, made sure my system is up to date (running an AMD Quad Core A6-3420M with AMD Radeon HD-6520G & 512 MB graphics). Every time I transition from one area to another (example, beaming down to the dilithium mine) the game stops and needs to be forced to crash. This only started happening since the patch on Tuesday. Anyone else having this issue?

the new update made it so i couldn't play on the laptop i was using. I could load the game but even at the lowest graphic settings i couldn't play. A friend gave me a radeon 6850 hd graphics card for my desktop and now the game won't even load up. Half way through load up it crashes. I love how you guys give the shaft to older computers to make the game better for high end users and console game users. Thanks.
