in Star Trek Online General Discussion
Been saving for an ANNORAX. I have 800million EC. However I see the odd offer here and there for over 1 billion EC. How to I go over 1 billion? If you are selling it for less than 1 billion maybe find me in game? Thanks.

    Only the devs have a clue. We don't know if they will do an Annorax rerun or if they will create a R&D/Doff Event Box similar to the Infinity Lockbox that lets us choose which R&D/Doff Event ship that we want. It is possible that we have seen the last of the Annorax and are limited to people that still have unopened their Annorax and wish to obtain a tidy profit.

    Not soon, and I'm highly unconvinced it dropped to 500m. 700m, sure. 500? Not so much.

    I have laid an eye on the Annorax as well. Think 900mil was last sell offer in the trading channel.

    Waiting is indeed a sound advice for the time being. A rerun of this promotion will refuel the supply and reduce prices. I think it is also possible cryptic will make some sort of “infinity” promotion sooner or later which would work the same way as the lock box. Would be a good seller to them and us so…

    Wait for the annorax promotions again. I know it is unknown wait and may be a long, but it is worth it. I missed the first time around, but on the second rerun for the annorax, I got it for 600mil. I bought about half way into the promotional event where the supply was good enough for the prices to be brought down and people weren't scrambling to buy them out which usually happens as the promotional event is nearing it end time.

    Even I am waiting for the next promotional annorax event to see if they will change the boff seating from hybrid intel to hybrid temporal since other rerun ships have received this type of treatment (She'Shar Dreadnaught, and Jem'Hadar Strike ship).
    Interesting thing with the Annorax is the fact that the intel version would make it more tactical influenced while the temp version would make it more science influenced which can appeal to sci heavy invested characters like mine.

    I may be willing to trade my intel version for a temp one, but I am not to sure how well a science particle build will be compared to a full out BFAW tactical build that I have seen some annorax users utilize.

    The way to go beyond 1 Bilion Ec is by buying stuff like Promo Boxes or Master Keys and trading those.

    When you trade with another player outside the Exchange, you can also exchange gear - he puts stuff in the Trade UI that he wishes to give you, and you can enter your EC amount and any other items you want to give him. (The UI ensures that no one can take away stuff at the last moment without the other player noticing.) So he puts his Annorax Special Requisition Pack up on his side, and you put, say 800,000,000 EC and 50 Master keys on your side. You both lock into the trade, and it goes through.

    It wont go down that low...perhaps 750MIL at the least.​​

    They just did a rerun for this not too too long ago. I cant remember exactly when it was, just before aoy maybe. Then the tos t6 boats were introduced in the last promo cycle for r and d. Nobody really knows what to expect next for these as promo ship cycles have been.. not so consistent. E.g. the bulwark. We saw it once and never again, jhss's have come around twice already i believe. The annorax is unique though because its tied to a doff box and not an r+d box. See how it can get confusing :)

    We know almost exactly when promos happen though we don't necessarily know "which" ships go on promo. Considering that the recent order in reverse was T6 Constitution, Annorax, Bugship, Sheshar.

    Therefore we'll likely not see the Annorax up next. We will probably see either the Sheshar, Bugship or something new.

    Bugship makes sense next since they can sell more to people with the new T6 Jem'Hadar ships wanting frigate pets.
