The Winter Event ship has traditionally been one not associated with any player factions. Mostly... they've been Breen ships since winter and cold go with Breen.
If they were to make a faction specific ship, they'd have to make KDF and Romulan variants as well. While it would be easier for the Klingons since we do have the Kamarag, the Romulans have no equivelent.
They wouldn't have to. Most Klingon and Romulan players should have no more problem adding a Fed ship into their roster than a Breen ship. A ship is a ship is a ship.
Although a T6 Kamarag would be nice, too. Maybe one for Winter the other for Anniversary.
For the Winter Event I would prefer if the event ship was a cruiser. That would give my Engineer on my secondary free to play only account a T6 ship to use.
If it isn't, then hopefully the Anniversary Ship will be a cruiser. I definitely do not want both of those event ships to be cruisers though. That would be boring.
Prob see the Lukari ship for an anniversary event ship rather than winter event based on previous trends:
1st Anniversary was nothing, 2nd and 3rd were both faction ships, but:
4th Anniversary event following Dyson story arc launch in the fall = Dyson ship in spring of following year
5th Anniversary event following Delta Rising in the fall = Kobali Samsar in spring of following year
6th Anniversary event following the Artifacts story arc this fall = Lukari something in the spring

Rezreth Siege Destroyer (Dreadnought) - In game as improved Rezreth Destroyer, but no player version
Breen Capital Ship - In game, no player version
BUT, that being said.....we already have a 4 piece set from Breen Ships, and technically have an escort, cruiser, dreadnought, and sci-carrier.....so what else can they reasonably do with Breen. Personally I would like to see some other creativity and leave the Breen behind. They aren't even the only Cold-Loving species in the game.
It would be nice if we can get the T6 Ambassador class for winter event. In fact, it should be the reward for the STO anniversary or ST 50th. I love the ambassador ship from the previous STO anniversary.

Take a regular Borg Sphere, make the lighting scheme "icy blue" instead of "poisoned green" and do a "cold vapor venting" animation for the exterior (just a little, not a lot) and you'd have a Snorg Sphere. Mastery Trait is a "cold" version of Eject Warp Plasma that trails clouds of "christmasy" snowflakes instead of green "goop" clouds and does Cold Damage instead of Plasma Damage.
Cryptic could release a Breen shuttle, but I doubt that will happen. Players don't really like shuttles. I am more likely to believe that we are getting the other Vorgon ship this Winter and a Lukari ship this anniversary. If there are other "cold" species out there, Cryptic should take advantage of them and make some of their ships. If we get another Breen ship, I wouldn't mind.

They already did a cold Eject Warp Plasma for the Breen.
Andorian ships would be a good choice or create a Aenar ship? Cold dwelling species would fit the theme, but of course we had Krenim so anything is possible.

but andoria is part of federation. so both of them are federation specias with no ships of its own.
vorgon ships might be in next lock box (2 ships) or next 2 years on risa. i dont thnik they would add them as winter even. as for lukari - probably 7th anniversary.
might be new breen ships with new set of consoles. or we get mirror breen cruiser/escort T6. shuttle could be addititonal reward for commodities.
I would guess that the Vorgons will be the new Ferengi of Risa, so Q needs a new species (Breen have indeed been more or less emptied). Although Ferengi are Feds as well, I doubt they would go that route. Since most of the usual suspects have been done already, it really would mean somebody new-ish. A complete rework of some Gorn Sci ship by the Lukari would not be out of reach (after all, using the Vorgon was already a stretch, considering their only minimal impact on the story missions so far). They need to come up with something, but I guess whatever it will be, some people on the forums won't be happy.

Well unless there is another cold dwelling race, Androrian is the choice for this coming winter event.

I loke the Breen theme of the Holiday Event but I also really like the Ambassador. If the Winter ship isn't another Breen ship, I would be more than happy with a T6 Ambassador and Kamarag

The Rezreth Siege is basically a supped up Rezreth, and the Breen Capital Ship used the same model as the old Rezreth.
They still have the Bleth Choas fighters, which I wouldn't mind at all. KDF could use a few more shuttle options. My KDF would end up with her own Dralthi then!

My KDF has actually had several Wing Commander named ships since Kilrathi sounds pretty alien and fits with the Klingons. I would SOOOO name a Bleth Choas Dralthi.

The Guardian looks ugly. Tbh, most of the t6 fed ships r ugly. What software Cryptic use for ship model? A ship for me isnt all about layout and power. It must be balance and beautiful. All the temporal fed temporal ships are so ugly.

Based on the design of hte Guardian, not the BOff layout...
I'd say the Guardian is based on the concept art done by Andrew Probert for the Ambassador.

I doubt they will ever release a T6 Support Cruiser (Ambassador). The Guardian has a similar look and bridge officer layout and is probably its "replacement" unfortunately.
Not necessarily. They could easily release a "similar" ship that's command instead of Intel. Or a new spec entirely.
