Well, since I've gotten duplicate rares from a opening boxes during a lag spike many times, I'm gonna say "Plausible. VERY"
Moreso as I've watched "cluster bombs" of grand prizes where 3-4 people obviously opened them on the same server tick and all came away mighty pleased.
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.
In the chaos of their battle, I bring order.
I am a shadow, darkness born from light.
The Force is united within me.
Yes, using 10,000 lock box keys you are expected to receive roughly 40 ships. It's not guaranteed though.
Actually, it's 1%, so 100 ships is more appropriate. However, people must understand that no matter how many boxes you open the odds of getting a ship does not change. You could open a million and still not get a ship. I got 2 Konnies from 73 boxes and a T6 TOS Connie from 13 Boxes, so there's luck in the air for me
Are you sure about this?
On Neverwinter some people have worked out that a lockbox has roughly 0.05% of dropping the best item in it which is a Legendary Mount. Still no-one truly knows except the people who set the drop chance.
I would not be surprised if it is like that for a lockbox on a game made by the same Company, on the Console at least... just a guess really.
See my post above. Tribble server tests on past lock boxes showed 1 in 250 for the lock box ships. For the R&D promo pack some kind soul opened 10,000 on tribble and the pack (NOT lock box) drop rate was 1 in 100.
Yes but the PC and the Consoles are completely different even if things have the same name, I have learnt that from my time on Neverwinter. Never expect the Console to have the same rates of anything including drops
Oh and I forgot to mention I have witnessed, multiple times, drop rates being changed by who-ever is in charge of that kind of thing on Neverwinter. So if something is indeed 1-100 they can change that in a split second and you would never know.
