Btw, what is "style" in leaderboard entries?
Nobody seems to know it so far, anyone can explain?
Style is a combination of various effects and abilities describing the "cleaness" or the "cheeseness" of a player. Let me explain better.
Keep in mind this is just Hilbert's interpretation due to a precise mindset popular back in the days of what is good and what is bad using in PvP, supported by tests and opinions concordant in the community.
Like Hilbert stated a long time ago:
Style points have a rather small impact on the final result. There are minor bonus poins for extends, psw and ramming speed. Currently the rest are style penalties for using certain pets (runabouts, drone ships, interceptors) and consoles (e.g. elachi console, temporal backstep). The effect on the final result is small because some of the really annoying things like TIF are not in the combat log.
And like he stated in page #4 of this thread, you can understand it's an indicator of how good or bad you're playing against enemies.
Long story short, if you use p2w or broken stuff, you usually going to get a bad style (even negative). If you properly use "normal" stuff, you gain style points. The problem is now the list is not updated, so it doesn't really states how good or bad you're playing in terms of style (tl;dr: it's useless to upload match now due to the old state of the leaderboard and Hilbert's virtual absence)
At page 7 you can see a depth explaination provided by Hilbert about how rankings work (fyi, part of the initial algorithm is not up to date): http://hilbertguide.com/leaderboard/ranking.html after the line "This uses the following:"
