Even though I was also hoping for a cardassian set now that there are two ships, at least we got the big brother
Now you have a proper STF Cardassian make-up. 1 Keldon and 4 Galor, or 2 Keldon and 3 Galor.
Jem'Hadar ships... standard flair. Don't get me wrong they are great. But I expected them to continue the trend so was not really surprised, lol. Theme-wise you have an awesome array to make up a 20 man STF: Dominion (minus cardassian vessels) vs KDF or the Crystalline Entity. Now that would be great to see. Someone should make a youtube
While Mirror fans continue to wait for new T5 variants: *cough*Defiant-class*cough* and Intrepid-class. As well as one T6 variant: Odyssey-class. Basically the reskinned/re-bridged
Odyssey Star Cruiser, the one that CAN'T equip the Odyssey set items. Which is kinda odd to me... why not allow it?

Ah... true, lol. Personally I would have preferred a neutral faction that way it doesn't end up like the RRF where you have to choose. The Ferengi Alliance would have done nicely

And where does it say that the Cardassian/Dominion Lockbox is only for consoles? The whole dev blog reads like it is the introductory dev blog on lockboxes for consoles and someone forgot to put up the PC version. The entire Cardassian/Dominion Lockbox dev blogs is messed up. Looking at the Xbox One and Playstation 4 web pages doesn't even show this dev blog and you have to look for it through the STO launcher or use google. The only piece of information that is available is the Ship Stats for the Xbox One page. So either someone was a bit too hasty in releasing the dev blogs for the Xbox One page and screwed up in linking the dev blog to the news page or someone forgot to add the dev blog to the Playstation 4 and PC news pages.
Federation - Mirel II, Tala Lyleh sh'Ezlem, Vro'kul, Jahrel, Giweatu, Jhrol th'Ezlem, Katariina Rebane, Eleftheria Palaiologou, Surel, Saimon, TheEfficientSaurian
KDF -Mirel I, Anirez Norai, Talash
Romulans - T'Lara, Makath 'The Needle' Ayailat, Mirel III
Rejoice if you play consoles.

You mean this section right here?
Sorry, but that doesn't prove it is for consoles only. It only proves that it will be released when STO hits Xbox One and Playstation 4 not that it is only for the consoles. Unless Cryptic or PWE specifically states that this lockbox will not be available for PC users which seems like one of the stupidest business moves ever, then there is no proof one way or the other if PC users will get the lockbox.
Of course it would be labelled as the console lock box if they are releasing it when consoles are launched. Devs have to be cryptic about certain things they say to make sure they don't get in trouble with Marketing. A console lock box won't get them in trouble with babbling about the lockbox while Cardassian/Dominion Lockbox will if Marketing is not ready for its release. It is extremely likely that the dev blog was accidentally released since it doesn't exist on the Xbox One or Playstation 4 news page and only available on the STO client.
The only news available about the new lockbox is the Xbox One news page having a dev blog about the ship stats. There is no dev blog announcing the new lockbox on any of the news pages. There is only two ways to access the dev blog about the new lockbox, through the STO client that is only available to PC users and Google. Which gives credence to the theory that it wasn't ready to be released. If it was just for console users, then both dev blogs would be on the news page for Xbox One and Playstation 4 not having the second dev blog only being available for the Xbox One.
The Keldon's stats are identical to the T5U Galor. Same for the Dominion ships.
Except that the Keldon has Lt/LTC Intel Seating and the Heavy Escort has Pilot seating attached to it.
While this trait is slotted, activating Beam: Overload, Surgical Strikes and Cannon: Rapid Fire will provide an increase in damage to all nearby hangar pets. This buff does not stack.
This would go great with my Flight Deck Raptor's Trait, cannon rapid fire would active both traits, increasing the buff they recieve.
"For console" hue hue hue.

This.
This lockbox pretty much means no Cardassian faction ever. Good I didn't wait for it, and already created my pseudo-Cardie.
@trekonlinegame: The stats are in for our Cardassian and Dominion console ships!

l don't know.
l really don't know what l'm about to say, except l have a feeling about it.
That l must repeat the words that come without my knowledge.'
They're straight reskins of the T5U ones. I'm thinking if they did release them on PC a lot of people would complain that they're "forcing people to buy the same ship again" or something.

As of now in consoles they have most of the usual PC T5 ships as T6 as incentive packs already. Sooner rather than later they will move the T6 cardis/Jem to PC if they want "money" from their larger audience. Another ploy to get players there...and what NOT free? Not sure who thought about this plan....
