Loot Crate Content with Code?

A friend acquired a keycode for something called the Starfleet Admiral's Commission Pack. Via the July mystery Loot Crate. Apparently, a monthly subscription service this was attached to. It claims the STO code offers a $50 value.

The actual content of what can be claimed once the code is used is rather vague. Does anyone have any useful specifics that I can share?

    Got this from a Reddit post:
    • 2 large XP boosts
    • The Kelvin timeline Federation uniform
    • 10 Kelvin timeline federation weapons
    • 0718 as your bridge officer
    • RED MATTER CAPACITOR!
    • A gear box that grants new gear every 10th level (levels 10-50)
    • a TOS enterprise (just a constitution class - too bad it can't be the actual NCC-1701)
    • An Andromeda Exploration cruiser

    I've seen a couple videos on YouTube of people getting this stuff too. So nice of Cryptic to NOT tell anyone who would have wanted a Red Matter Capacitor that they could have gotten this.

    And, yes. After six years that is interesting. I wonder if the Red Matter Capacitor has been updated to more reflect the current state of the game? Is it still a device or might it be a console needing factored in more so?

    Loot Crate. Think of it as a magazine. Like Game Informer or some such. Monthly sub. Assume it's a lockbox in the form of a real-world box. Delivered to your doorstep with the mail. You open it and find an STO keycode along with many other items unrelated to STO. If you were subscribed, you got offerings for the month of July. Those not subscribed are out of luck.

    Click the gear icon at the top right of the ARC (A way to Redeem Codes) browser and select "Activate a Product" from the dropdown. As a heads up, the Red Matter Capacitor and 0178 are in the gear crate, and they're only usable by the character that claims the crate... once per account; the Uniforms and Ships are account unlocks, however.

    I am unable to claim the crate with my character. I was able to claim the level 10 Enterprise that came with it after I ranked to 10. But for the crate with the uniforms and xp boosts It says in red at top of the crate content "this charcter is unable to use this" and the "claim" button is greyed out. I have submitted tickets to CSM and of course no response.

    Was anyone able to claim this on anything but a fed? I tried a Fed Romulan and it wouldnt let me which kind of sucks.

    What do i need to do to claim the crate do i need to be at some lv to do so. i can claim all the stuff on my old toon. I dint claim it on the old one want to roll a new toon to relearn the game haven't long on in a yr so lost lol
