Mouse cursor getting stuck/freezing

So I got a new mouse recently (Razer DeathAdder Chroma) and now, when playing STO (and only when playing STO) the cursor will freeze and requires a restart of the mouse (via unplugging) to get it working again. However this will sometimes also cause another error where the drivers re-install, which can take several minutes.

Currently, this is rendering the game completely unplayable. Does anyone know of a fix or a workaround for this issue?

    look here (Razer DeathAdder Chroma mouse freezes after 30mins of play time)
    With a Phaser or Lightsaber it doesnt matter to me
