Which factions would be nice to see as playble ones?

We have lot of space, lot of missions but its all mainly about 3 main, there is lot of room to expand, i know that lot of people would like to see Terran empire, what about Delta species?

So lets go :)

1. Romulan Star Empire
2. Cardassian Union
3. Terran Empire
4. Krenim Imperium
5. B'Omar Sovergainity
6. Ferengi Alliance
7. Independent Gorn Hegemony
8. Dominion
9. Any other playble includes all not counted such as Voth, Borg, Haakonian Order, Zahl, Nihydron, Undine, Hirogen, Tholians,...

Also i would like to see what species you would like to see, if not as playble at least that there is a social zone like for Vulcan and Bajor, Andoria is for now just a place with snow :/

    I am thinking the Dominion would be a nice playable faction.
    Multiple races and ships.
    And new story arc with lots of missions going on in the Gamma Quadrant.
    Plus, Cardassians could join them for old times sake. >:P
    Only downside is they wouldn't be able to become a major enemy faction again. Unless Laas starts messing around with things and makes his own group.

    Romulan Star Empire
    RSE as a way to finish off the Romulan faction and make for alternatives for those who do not wish to align with the Republicans, Feds, and KDF. This is also a vote for "no need for new playable factions" since it is about finishing off existing factions.

    No need for new playble factions
    When they can't even sustain 3 factions, then try adding a fourth in the next update, you know we have problems.

    Thinking out of the group provided in the poll, that either the Dominion or the Cardassian's would be a smart choice, simply because many details exist for those two already. Should be less work overall for the developers.

    Even if there are no future plans for more factions, I'd at least like to see Cardassians as a playable race for the existing factions... with access to their unique uniforms similar to the way Nausicaans and Orions have access to theirs.

    Out of those choices the Cardassians make the most sense in that they're popular to a point and one can relate to them. It's a bit harder to relate to and thus play the Borg or the Dominion, especially when we know so little about how the Dominion works. There's also the fact that the Cardassians have a lot of background that could be explored that at least I, for one, would love to get into and if the developers do go for a Dominion faction down the line the Cardassians would be a good start to go that route.

    Srsly, why even more factions that cryptic can happily neglect?
    The 2 non feds we have are already on life support and cryptic dosen't seem to be in a hurry to change that.
    And the "fourth" one we'll get? It's "fed 1.5" with a different turotial that megres with fed after 6 missions.

    Followup to my post.
    Realized the problem with a Dominion faction, is they would not work as a minifaction that joins with either the Federation or Klingon Empire. They are simply too big.
    They would have to be thier own faction by themself. With very little overall connection to the other factions, except when fighting major enemies.

    But guess the Cardasian Union could still kinda work due to thier current smaller size.
