It is sort of an embarrassment of riches . But owning one won't make me love my Narcine, Paradox, Tarantula, or Annorax any less. They all have their own captains and their own stories in my head.
(a Narada Replica may see my two Tal Shiar Adapted ships get shelved for the most part, but that's a direct upgrade in 'playing the dream')
Eh. They've had reserved seating pretty much since before the game launched. Though I look forward to more T6-ifying going on, particularly for the lock box grand prize ships that predate the introduction of the 6th tier.
Yup both Kelvin Timeline Connie and Vengeance are coming . YAAAAAAY!!!
Couldn't care less about the JJ Connie. The Vengance is stupidly OP though - it'll make the Scimitard look like a shuttle. That's NOT a good thing.
Ridiculous assumption.. sorry.
It will be powerful, but it's not going to blow the Arbiter or the Scimitar out of the water by any stretch of the imagination.
Yes it will. It's a lockbox ship and will therefore be better by default. It has a ridiculous OP BOFF seating arrangement which includes Intel AND Temporal. 5/3 weapon layout and a stupidly OP trait that benefits BFAW of all things. THAT is OP.
It has a good BoFF layout for sure, not enough is known about Temporal abilities yet to really make many assumptions. Console layout is good, trait sounds good but we'll have to wait and see how much of a boost it actually gives. Console sounds like a gimmick as usual, 5/3 layout is nothing that doesn't already exist. It's basically the Fed version of the Scimitar, it's not the end of the world. It will be slightly more powerful then the Arbiter.. maybe.
And for the record, the trait also works with Scatter Volley. It's not BFAW specific.
What we can see from the Twitter pic makes it look quite similar to the Arbiter and even more so to a fully stocked Scimitar. It remains to be seen if the temporal seating will be all that large of an advantage, and how its Sentries AI/skills work out in reality rather than on paper.
While I tend to agree it will be the single most powerful ship in the game at release, I'm less certain it'll hold that distinction by a wide margin. And I still advocate the removal of the cloak as both lore-breaking and unnecessary power creep. Taking it off will give the Arbiter and Scimitar at least one talking point as to why they may be better in some cases.

I'm interested to see what it's turn rate/inertia rating will be.
This is a stat people often overlook, but it actually matters quite a bit. I can put out higher damage in my Arbiter then I can in my Scimitar any day.. why? Because the Arbiter handles like an Italian Sports car while the Scimitar handles like a cinder block floating in a jug of oatmeal. Positioning is important and I can get where I need to be in the Arbiter. In order to get the Scimitar to do what I need it to do involves very careful use of the battle cloak which of course risks taking hits with no shields.
Overall, I agree.. adding a cloak is overkill. It really seems like they're going all out to make sure everyone wants the ship. While I think it should be revised to take it down a notch, I'm still not overly worried about it. Honestly, I don't see anything that's going to make me spend like crazy when the Arbiter is right on par with an account wide unlock. So is the Scimitar.
All of this stuff lockbox? Watch PWE profits skyrocket for a month.

Well, let's see, they've shown the Vengeance in their own Twitter feed.
True, which is the only reason they allow us to say as much as we have.
Stats and stuff, people have to find on their own.. I will say it's going to be a total beast.
The stats and BOFF seating suggest that it'll be the most preposterously OP ship in the game. And a trait that is of great benefit to BFAW too. Wonderful.
30 second ISA instances, here we come.
Thankfully, judging by the seating, it'll be a lock-box prize.
Look at the bright side! No scimis.
Perhaps I replace the arbiter on one of my toons with it. Perhaps not. We shall see how much it costs and how well it turns. Judging from the movie it spend most screen time standing still.

You can make out that you're looking at a 5/3 T6 Intelligence cruiser with hanger commands, 2 of the 4 cruiser commands, a Lt Commander universal, Lt uni/temporal, Lt Commander tac, Commander Engineering/Intel slot, and an ensign Sci slot. Plus cloak icon in the tray.
"He shall be my finest warrior, this generic man who was forced upon me.
Like a badass I shall make him look, and in the furnace of war I shall forge him.
he shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In great armour I shall clad him and with the mightiest weapons he shall be armed.
He will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight him.
He shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe will best him in battle.
He is my answer to cryptic logic, he is the Defender of my Romulan Crew.
He is Tovan Khev... and he shall know no fear."
As for the OP's issue of size, the Vengeance is not as big as some playable STO ships. Vonph dwarfs it completely. Many of the bigger Lockbox/Lobi/Promotion like the Annorax and Tarantula are up in the 1400+M range. The Jupiter is 1466M (according to STO artist Jam Jamz' Twitter post here) which means, it actually comes out longer than the Vengeance if the first image is correct in size.

I'm not allowed to say how I know that.
There is also something for Roms and Kdf.

Nope.. Kelvin Timeline Klingon Pilot Raider - D4 Class
It's times like these I seriously consider naming my Section 31 Intel Dreadnought the "USS Eat Crow, B'ches"
@benirving , thanks for being a little faster to reply than I was.
((I'm actually leaning towards the USS Nevermore))
My biggest fear is Lockbox.
