My character Tsin'xing
I only have my TOS toon up to level 10, didn't bother with doing the Klingon Arc missions, so I'm blocked out anyway.
Which is OK by me, I've done the Klingon missions so many times now I'm not going to do them again on TRIBBLE.
I can wait till the rest of the new stuff hits the HOLODECK.

Is the level up vendor available or did they take it away during AoY testing?
I also noticed that the Romulan offices have doors. Actual /wooden/ doors. With doorknobs! I was shocked!
I can also confirm I can't access the Once and Future Agent like others.
Fed ones, anyway. My KDF was able to pick it up fine.
Qapla'
Quite Kool!
There's just one problem, when I use it on anything scan-able in 2409 space, my ship uses the 2409 scan effect.

That was awesome. The set design, the initial cloak-and-dagger feel, the sheer panic when all hell breaks loose, the fantastic space battle at the end. Once it's polished up, it'll be one of the best missions yet.
The only bug I found (aside from the accessibility one, of course) is that the space cutscenes are weirdly... static, in that the subtitles and sound suggest that things are supposed to be happening but nothing actually does happen. I assume this'll get fixed, and we'll be able to see what the cutscenes "should" look like
But yeah, please let the content team know that they outdid themselves once again!
This mission is beautiful, but very brief. And also has my captain acting insane for some reason.
Spoilers (though I doubt there's a need to put that in this thread):
So after we're exposed and we shoot out way out of the room, we're supposed to shoot our way through an entire Romulan colony to get to another building? That's a level of insane that surpasses anything Kirk would have attempted. Maybe there's another way of doing it, but I didn't see how. Ended up dying many times because I just don't have access to the right gear to make a difference, but I managed to make it there and beam up the device.
Space was another situation where I didn't have the right gear and ended up dying a lot. But eventually I finished it out.
Even with the constant dying, this mission felt incredibly short compared to what I'm used to for these "featured missions". With the right load out, I could see this lasting 15 to 20 minutes maybe even less, where the usual missions seem to be usually around 40 minutes on average (off the top of my head anyways).
On the plus side, the cloaks and the disguises were a nice touch, though maybe a bit of variety in the boff might be a good idea (All of mine looked exactly the same. That wouldn't fool a blind man ).
Loved the look of everything, and it felt like a TOS sort of episode (albeit a very short one).
I liked the costumes but agree there should be more than one disguise. Also, I would appreciate a few Romulan dialogue options thrown in - it would really make the mission feel more "unique" so to speak.
I really thought the whole ending portion where you slaughtered all of the guards was really unnecessary and not to mention a total violation of protocol. What if one of those guards were a relative of mine or someone important like Jarok? :P Gotta fix that part. Finally, Daniels becomes scarred but the end dialog window for turn in says other wise.
Overall, good mission aside from a few bugs.
As for the mission it's self, Very awesome. Some sphincter tightening moments,
"I'm discovered in a Romulan colony, now everything wants to kill me? Oh TRIBBLE!"
"The Doomsday device is active and it's gunning for me? Thank goodness I wore the brown pants today!"
Just one thing, We're given a Holo disguise for the ship while in Romulan territory so them scummy Romulans don't see a ship from the future, right? My Ship Holo disguise failed after the ground portion of the map and My 25th century starship was clearly visible for all to see. Good thing the view screens on all the other ships failed at the same time!
I liked seeing Daniels get TRIBBLE slapped by the timeline at the end though. That was cathartic!
You know, I didn't even think of that. It kinda blows the whole "we're from the future, but they shouldn't see us" thing completely apart. And none of the Romulan captains seem to mention it either. We know that some of them survive, so that's got to contaminate the timeline somewhat right?
That part bothered me as well. Not because of the slaughter part (**SPOILERS***I mean, at the end of the mission, the Doomsday Machine basically destroys the planet...so they're basically all toast anyways ***END OF SPOILERS***), but mainly due to the whole improbability of survival part. I realize that this is a game and we all have the option of a do over via the resuscitate/respawn mechanic, but as someone who likes to imagine they're really in this fictional world, if I was in that place at that time, it would be me and my team who's getting slaughtered because we're massively numbered.
it's a Wild Bunch scenario. No one would get out of that room alive. As I said in my previous comment, those are odds that even Kirk wouldn't have attempted to overcome.
As an alternative, if I may suggest something: We're in the same building as the device we have to aquire, why not have us bust through a door to get to it. The Romulans will still attempt to defend it, as they do in the mission, but we'd stand a much better chance that way then running through the streets like a madman - and breaking the immersion and whole flow of things by respawning so much it's hilarious because we're getting straight up massacred.
Also, the amount of enemies, both in space and on the ground, is ridiculous. Removing a good chunk of it would be nice as in the current state, I doubt a lvl19 character would be able to go through it without dying several times.
And good to see Krog again, but the Temporal Front mission is going to need an additional dialogue since we now meet her before seeing her again in that Future Proof mission.
Clipping with my terran riffle and rommie holo uniform.
No transporter effect in the cutscene between the meeting and escape with command unit
Took damage while the cut scene with the doomsday device happened
But try that with a Caitian, a Breen, a Jem'Hadar, a Voth, a Borg, a Xindi-Reptilian, a Reman or a Gorn (or any other non-human-looking species).
I know doctors in the 25th century can do impressive feats (like changing sexes with no long-lasting effects, as Quark can attest in the 24th), but even V'Ger wouldn't be able to do that kind of things (at least not without killing the original).
Beautiful map.
Mission worked fine, though the unfinished cutscenes made it a tad confusing.

I had a Tellarite on my away team, no amount of make-up is going to make THAT look like a Romulan.
