    I'm having the same problem in the Delta quadrant as well.

    I have a fresh Klink who is experiencing this problem in the tutorial. She gets a "couldn't transfer player container" error every time I press the "Take Command" option right after completing the first part of the tutorial where you kill Captain Jurlek.

    I've had this error on several characters, different missions but most persistently "Treasure Trading Station". One of my characters is now unable to log in at all, it throws me back to the log in screen regardless of whether I click safe log in or normal log in.

    I am getting the same message and yesterday the game crashed completely to desktop without explanation.
    Mine is the mission Blood of the Ancients entering the last part of the mission 'Legacy of the Preservers'.
    Hope it gets fixed soon.

    This still occurs on several characters. Can this be resolved today (5/23/2016)?

    Same here in "What's past is prologue", may be a Cryptic server problem, hope they solve it fast.

    I got an email from support with these instructions;
    Kindly locate and delete the gameprefs.pref file on the game's installation folder: <install_dir>\Perfect World Entertainment\Star Trek Online\Live\localdata\gameprefs.pref

    Please note that deleting this file will reset all your game preferences including keybinds, audio, and video settings to default. Afterwards, do a force verification of your game files. To do this,

    1) First, shut down your PC and wait a few minutes. Then restart your PC.
    2) Start the game launcher, and click on ""Options"" that can be found on the upper right side of the launcher window.
    3) Under the ""Patching"" section, put a check mark on the ""Force Verify"" option on the game and select ""Save"". Let the game verify that your game client's files match the server-side versions of the files. It will also re-download any files that don't match.
    4) This will take some time. Please be patient.
    5) After this process is done, try to get into the game again and see if the same issue(s) occur.

    I ultimately didn't have to do this, as my character now can pass through load screens without issue. However I figured I'd post it here in case it helps anyone else. If it doesn't then people can at least say in their support tickets that they've attempted this step and save the support guys/gals some time.
