    Have to agree. It's their call, but history shows it's lead to buggy launches.

    With LoR there actually was a period where they sent out emails apparently at random (IE, not limited to subscribers, I'm speaking from personal experience here) giving beta access.

    So - are we building a 22nd century character that somehow lives to 2410 or leaps through time or are we building a 2410 temporal agent that goes back to the 22nd century as part of a resolve-the-disrupted-timeline plot?

    As for Cestus, I insist that the Gorn there have spherical wire mesh screen eyeballs instead of looking like tail-less Godzillas.

    Okay, so I'm busily downloading the latest update to Tribble...did they add another update today? Because I could have sworn I updated it fully first thing this morning. I bought the new Temporal Agent pack the other day, am I correct in thinking that like most "account-wide" stuff I've purchased, it won't be available to any character I make on Tribble?

    someone said in another thread that patching the new stuff on tribble has been weird all day

    When it comes to the characters, here is my thoughts. Your new characters in TOS Fed will exist in 2270. BUT, the new missions they are talking about will be for your currently existing characters, recruited in the Temporal Department.

    I'm only at 15% (sigh) of the 4156mb update, it seems like whenever I want to update, that's when everyone else in my house suddenly decides they NEED to start using the Internet. But at least it should be ready to use in the morning no matter what. That being said, I'm still wondering about the Temporal Pack....so far as I'm concerned an Account-Wide pack should grant access even in the Test Servers, yet, this doesn't seem to happen.

    By the time they opened tribble to everyone else for the Romulan subfaction they did not give themselves enough time or did not heed my and other story comments.

    "story comments"? There was never any possibility that the devs would do more than minor tweaks to the LoR story based on feedback. Now, stuff like fixing the Carraya map so it doesn't have a duplicate planet? That got fixed before LoR beta was over.

    Are you trying on tribble or holodeck? You have to be on tribble and the open to make a TOS char has been up a while now.

    Am I the only one annoyed that it looks like they're going to spoil all the new missions? I understand putting them on Tribble, but why would you show pictures and descriptions on the main News page? :/
