Considering that episode had Kahless as one of the 'evil' characters, I'm sure that even if we got something like it there would be distinct differences since Klingon characters would have very strong opinions about Kahless being 'evil'...

When I was a kid, my friends decided to call it Gorn Mountain even though it was not high enough to be a proper mountain. Not even sure if it's tall enough to be classified as a foothill.
can i play it now? can i play it on tribble? has anything launched yet? is this just a empty anouncement and i still have to wait weeks in order to play this? I am not a native english speaker, but this anouncement is full of riddles for me. Maybe it is just me, though.
So, I'm a little lost. I'm a lifetime member and I haven't a clue how to access tribble and do the whole trial thing? Total n00b move but what am I missing?

Sooo, only the tutorial and Shadows of Cestus available?? Also I'm unable to replay Cestus. It does show the first 6 missions but not able to play them. Has anyone played past Cestus or are they releasing them weekly or something?
Wait. The Gorn screen mesh eyeballs are really sunglasses? Excuse me whist I race to the tailor for this essential fashion accessory. My Catian character will be sooo jealous.

It's a nice option, for Gorn only.
KDF has lots of options that are only certain races.
Tensions remain high on Cestus, while the Gorn and the Federation have agreed to explore and use this miraculous world’s resources jointly. Edren IV sees peace… for now.
Hey Trendy, indeed foreboding, as foreboding as not being able to progress because "Equip the Phaser Rifle" is broken, no matter what I do, it doesn't advance. Which means I'm stuck less than 5 minutes into the new mission, awesome. Switching characters, quitting altogether and restarting, nothing, still stuck, oh and there's a whole list of other problems with the new mission as well, like the shuttle flying through the shuttle doors, but who will bother to notice the little things, right? Oh also, when reviving the survivor, your character has nothing in their hands and is waving them around like he's performing witchcraft, or the "V" scan option not working right after it tells you to do it, but again, the little things...

IIRC, the Excalibans portrayed the "good" and "evil" characters according to how Kirk imagined them, thus Lincoln and Surak were paragons of tolerance while Ghengis Khan, Col. Greene, and Kahless were ruthless dictators. Given that Kirk at the time was a known hater of Klingons, it is unsurprising that he thought of Kahless in similar terms as an American military officer would think of Vladimir Lenin during the 1960s.

It is an early version, on the order of some four months (I'm assuming a September release date). That plenty of things would be unfinished or broken is only to be expected, although perhaps it was released to semi-public testing a bit too soon (can't judge myself, not being a subscriber).
EDIT: And then I read a July release date is expected... egg on my face, that, cutting it down to two months does rather make one expect a bit less brokedness (albeit not more polish).

I didn't have any problem with this. Now I'm sure you tried this, but you did open the crate first. It can be confusing since both options come up at the same time

Exactly, it was all a matter of perception, specifically Kirk's own, which means that if Cryptic tried to 'mission-ize' (so to speak) that episode, they'd have to take into account that not every character/player or race would have the same opinions.

I'm more wondering about this "version mismatch" that keeps showing up.....if they ever get around to showing us more than the Tutorial and the first mission, it would be nice not to have to download the entire 4158 or so MB every time I try to log in to Tribble.
I supose the appearence of two 24th century Mogai warbirds at the end of the mission was some kind of bug...? Or are we going to have to deal with more people going back and forth through time? (I was honnestly waiting for a Na’kuhl vessel to come out of that wormhole thing...)
Nice to see Daniels for the first time even if he has a minor role in this episode.

That happened to me when it rolled back the patch and I had to repatch the AoY stuff.
I'm hoping they do "George Washington: Werewolf Hunter".

I watched it and was shocked it was actually really good. The whole thing seemed hokey as hell but if you get over the 'oh gods' reaction and watch there really WAS a good movie.

The Abe film is remarkabily better that this though. It seems that vampires had been hunted by every one, it's not surprising that noobody had seem one in centuries.
Endig the offtopic, the director of Abrahm Lincoln vampire hunter also directed a very nice piece of science fiction, "The Man from Earth".
The Man from Earth is a nice piece of sci-fi by Bixby. Just don't watch it is expecting a lot of modern day special effects. It's done so simply it could have been performed by a local theater group as a stage play. It's more about deep thought science fiction than action-adventure sci-fi.
And, it seems to directly connect back to a Star Trek episode. Maybe. It's kind up to up to the viewers.

Why would Cryptic write a mission where we fight them?

Obviously the test will always go wrong as long as the dummy wears a red shirt. Only Scotty can survive that things.
Lincoln, Surak and Jesus against temporal vampires. Nice.
dont knock it abe has experience in hunting vampires
