What do you think of this?
(sorry I don't know how to create a poll)
I'm leaning on the side that it is coming.

Can neither confirm nor deny always seems to mean confirmed to others for some reason unknown to me.
Because typically in the entertainment industry if the answer to a question is no that answer will be made crystal clear.
On the other hand, if the answer is yes but the person being asked is not cleared to announce it at that time they will almost always give a side step answer like this.
As with all things there are exceptions (ie Kahn is not in Into Darkness), but it's true more often than not.
Actually I'm truely sick of hearing about T6 Connies as well....it's just idiotic at this point. Makes you wonder how many times no.must be said and even if we do get one then the players will buy it get bored in 1 week and go back to their normal T6 Scimitars and pilot ships.
Edit: actually here's what you guys should do @tacofangs @borticuscryptic @crypticrock Put a T6 Connie on the Zen store (don't actually make an in game one) and don't put a buy tag on it and put a disclaimer on the picture that it's for Zen store front visual only! Then you guys can say a T6 Connie is in the game as requested! It'll be a picture of a Connie named T6 Constitution Class
CBS stand on this may change given the 50th and the possibility of $$$$$$$$.

I can neither confirm thing (because I'm barred from telling you about it ahead of our PR schedule), and I can't (won't) deny it (because if I did, I'd be a liar since it's going to happen and I can't tell you).
And the other half of the equation: How many times has any sort of "T-endgame Connie" discussion resulted in an immediate "No", whether unequovicably or conditionally (Stahl's "Not now, but never say never")? For any answer but the same continued stance, there must be something going on, and well, this sure as heck isn't no...
Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

I'm betting on a T6 Connie does come but it's the TOS faction flagship and that faction won't have access to any current fed ships at all besides maybe the Miranda and a few others...which would make CBS happy because it wouldn't break canon.

Considering current fed players will have access to all the other T6 ships that can use TOS nacelles/deflectors/etc, this would be a bit silly
That wouldn't make sense to have a TOS captians flying a ship 150 years more advanced though...
You're assuming that TOS captains are going to STAY in the TOS era. With all the Temporal Shenanigans... I'd expect the TOS captains to be going through the Temporal Displacement Office in the 25th Century at some point so that they integrate into the existing storyline.

The tos faction will at somepoint get access to all the content in the game. Inc ques and story. Geko said it in an interview. He doesent want the game competing with itself
That wouldn't make sense to have a TOS captians flying a ship 150 years more advanced though...
He said TOS captains will eventually have access to all existing content, so they will be able to fight borg, iconians, etc ... clearly they will end up in the current timeline by the time they hit max level
Yes, according to Mr. Rivera's newest comments, the new TOS Faction Characters will get to play all the stuff above Level 50 once they reach it.

Yes but if I remember my lore correctly the Temporal Directives are very clear on giving Future Technology to the past (even though they kinda skipped that with Daniels dying)

This is Cryptic we're talking about...they would never prey on the hopes of people that maybe they'll release a T6 Connie...keeping silent till the last moment so maybe people will buy a pack and in the end not get it. No...Crpytic has never done anything like that before.
Can't have a honest conversation because of a white knight with power
Once your TOS Faction Character hit's level 50, all the Time Travel Mission become available.
So I think it is pretty safe to assume that at some point while you are leveling up your TOS Toon, you get contacted by somebody like Daniels (maybe even him) to become informed like Captain Archer and be told about the Time Wars.
OOooo... I just realized that one of the "surprise" voice actors that Gecko mentioned in the P-1 broadcast might be Matt Wilson.
The guy who actually played the character on ENTERPRISE.

As sick as I am of the T6 Connie debate, this year is perhaps the only time the idea could be realistically possible.
We know before now that CBS has always flat out forbidden it (likely due to JJTrek being a thing). We can safely assume this because, despite widespread and constant requests and the obvious cash it would generate, it has not come to pass. It's not just Cryptic deciding not to - we know full well they aren't against releasing old ships at competitive tiers, eg. Excelsior, Fleet variants of low-tier ships. CBS is the only logical thing getting in the way.
But this is Trek's 50th Anniversary, a celebration of all things Trek, but primarily a look back at what started it all: The Original Series. And this is the only long-running, relatively successful Trek property out right now that isn't JJTrek. Assuming CBS' avoidance of a T5/6 Connie isn't a legal issue, this would be the ideal time to lift that restriction.
I hope they don't do it, personally, but if they do, I hope they blow the doors off it like the old girl deserves. To paraphrase an idea I put forth a while back:
During the week marking TOS's premier, give away free T6 versions of the Connie, D7, and T'liss with the classic skins. They would lack traits and only be stock T6's. Then after the week ends, release Fleet-grade C-Store versions with new 2410 skins, traits, and so forth. These ships could use the skins of the old ships, but only if you acquired its generic T6 counterpart during the week prior. Boom, T6 Connies, done in a way that
Limits their availability in a sensible way
Provides no specific advantage to owning it - the FT6's are their own ship, the Connie look is merely the skin
Provides new ships for everyone based on old ship designs
The idea is intended to satisfy a fictional but not unrealistic stipulation from CBS that T6 Connies be limited in availability, to retain the novelty, but still be able to provide fans and players with something to celebrate the anniversary.
We will be going to different Star Trek Eras, before, during, or after Star Trek shows in the future as part of our 'Temporal Shenanigans'. The new TV show is rumored to be self-contained Seasons, moving about the franchise.
My prediction. Take it for what it's worth.

The entire point of this thread is that Geko was asked, and this time did NOT say no.
I'm inclined to believe it will be coming...
The fact that it's now a "can't confirm nor deny" thing...that's definitely different than the way it's been worded in the past.
Just saying.
