Can't find my ship

So after I leveled up (level 10) I received a token for a new ship. So I bought a new Cruiser, I already had a cruiser so it was basically like upgrading it. But after I bought it I customized what I thought was the new ship, but after going up into battle and wanting to equip a knew Aft weapon I realized it was the old ship because it only had one slot. So I went to select it from the ship selector (at Earth spacedock) thinking it was there but it's not. After reading some other posts on this issue I tried see if it was in the overflow bag but I do not have an overflow bag. Maybe it got lost or deleted because it was a day or so before I found out to look in the Overflow bag.

Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated and sorry for the long post.

    Apparently it went into my inventory and I just had to right-click and select use. It looks like a black square with a white Federation triangle. Then go into Starship selection and select the new ship.

    I hope this helps someone.
