Polarize Hull Broken?

Has anyone else had trouble using Polarize Hull when being held by a Tractor Beam--specifically with the Borg? For me at least, I find that using Polarize Hull no longer breaks the Tractor Beam hold. I know before the skills revamp, even if you had zero points for the Polarize Hull ability, you still could at least break the hold of a Tractor Beam.

    Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I think part of it is due to the massive amounts of UI/skill lag that popped up with the skill revamp, especially when haste abilities are used. Passives like the Zahl Cruiser ship trait are even being affected.

    I've noticed this a couple times myself. Tried to recreate with a fleetmate, using both standard and Assimilated and couldn't do it. So its gotta be something involving the Borg themselves.

    The power related server overload often results in abilities you activate, get full cd on it and still their effects keeps missing out.

    On other occasions you klick the ability, even hear it’s specific activation sounds but nothing happens. Sometimes I have the activate stuff 3-5 times until it finally activates. It’s like the respective match you are running just can’t take any more input commands.

    Try to use your polarize hull in a story mission where you are on your own, I bet you find it to be working properly there.

    Invincible has been doing this to me a ton lately. It is now to the point where it doesn't work more than it does. Kinda ruins things when it has exactly one job and fails to do it, resulting in immediate death.

    Yes, I noticed this, too - luckily at least "Reckless Abandon" still works.

    It works for me. I blame lag. I've had so many skills misfire (more so after last week's update). Sci skills, heals, tac buffs and weapons fail to fire but go on cooldown.

    It gets worse when someone starts using haste abilities like Frenzy. This is worse than the kemo/QPhase lag at its height for me.

    For me too, much worse than back then. :'(

    Atm I even get massive (what looks like) frame rate drops in ISA and cca. Only there fortunately but still somewhat sad.

    There is a tonne of UI lag going on these days.
    Misfires of abilities is getting more and more common I find and the game will often put things of full cooldown right off the bat at the start of the run as well, messing you up even more.
    I've had problems with grav well, feedback pulse, polarize hull, torp spread. It seems anything can be affected.

    Cannot say i have but i have had a 100% success rate in escape tractor beams with attack pattern omega since it counteracts all movement debuffs

    For me it's been attack pattern beta, tactical team, and a couple of my oddball powers elsewhere on my tray. It's the lag, stuff misfires a lot. I end up having to keep clicking.

    Feels like APO not breaking out of tractors as well. Will have to test again on the DPSMark Foundry map. those Cubes there tractor 100% of the time.

    I knew using Kinetics would be playing the game on hard mode, but what I didn't realize was how bad the deck is stacked against Kinetics.
