No amount of damage resistance seems to be enough against torpedo bombers because of armor and shield pen. You could have 70% base kinetic damage resistance and because of pen and other debuffs get dropped to 30% damage resistance.
Nothing is wrong with zombie healers. People don't seem to realize that healers should actually be tanky, as were sacrificing all dps for healing and resists. Healers should be hard to kill, not like the way it is now. Now of course you can't make it where you never die, but just not to where it's easy for one person to take out a healer.
So I guess immunities are the way to go against torp bombers. I think the pilot skill deploy countermeasures has a kinetic immunity, although the only sci ship that has pilot seating is lobi one. Then there's the standard temporal insight and the rest.
Skill revamp has not improved PvP at all. There is way too much damage, pen and other stuff in the game, as written by Lyle before. Healing is now useless btw, I can have a 150k hazard emitters and still nobody (except for some good players) can survive long enough for having 5 SA stacks for maximum heal etc...what cryptic should do is remove any kind of shieldpen that they introduced within the last few months.
Healing use to be involved...picking and choosing a hot over direct heal...who to extend, who needed debuffs cleared, etc...Now it's smashing enough heals in the shortest amount of time hoping it did something. It use to require a coordinated effort to take down a team's healer. Escorts attempted to stay near you, they depended on that 10km safety net knowing that you had their backs. Killing a healer wasn't impossible, it just required effort and thought.
Healing is not clicking as much as possible for doing something useful. There are still heslers in this game, not many but I can count at least 3 who are currently queueing regularly. And these are mostly good.
