Really, no Ferengi ship as a reward?? Bad luck for me again... Well, at least that means that I will have more time to prepare for the exams and watch Euro in France :P
However, I still hope that this information is incorrect...
The ship stats were kinda leaked on Tribble, if i understand things correctly. (In the Reclaim Tab, which is now not showing anything anymore on Tribble.) but whether they are final? Who knows.
Was a T6 Ferengi ship mentioned, but promo so might be part of a VO contract dealie (like the Guardian) or might be a doff pack promo boat.
Promo Ships are also for R&D or DOFF Promos. If it's not a freebie in some manner, I hope for the R&D Promo. I have use for R&D Materials and inventory space for them, and more Lobi might be useful, too. But DOFF Packs reach the limit of the DOFF inventory to quickly.
But I am not sure I'd spend money on it again... Even with Lobo ships or ships bought from the Exchange, I kinda always dislike the reduced customization options of these non-faction ships and end up back in a faction ship.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
I didn't know that was possible. Is there any way to tell how much time is left?
Checked it, it's possible. But not in the inventory. You must put your holoprojector in this "tray" where you have skills etc. Once your holoprojector is there, on it's icon is written how many minutes you have left. So, of course, first you have to buy it to track how much mintues you have used it, but as it was already explained, when you buy it, you always have 60 minutes.
Well, the chance of getting a D'kora from a lock box is 0.37%. The chance that the "leaked" information is wrong is... hopefully more then 0.37%. Hey, I'll be happy with whatever free T6 ship they want to give us. That is a cool thing. Plenty of other games don't do anything that cool. But, if it's a Ferengi ship with that coveted Ferengi bridge, then someone will have to scrape me off the ceiling. Until I see the exact numbers on how likely it is to get a chase ship out of a DOFF pack promotion, I will assume it's the same as a lock box. Thus, I won't be buying DOFF packs to get the ship. Now, if a Ferengi ship were in the lobi store, I would go all out to collect enough lobi to get it. Despite what others have told me, it still doesn't make sense to me that one cannot buy a Ferengi ship from the Ferengi lobi store nor the Ferengi latinum (sp) store. I'm pretty sure that even in the mirror universe, Ferengi are selling Ferengi product. (Better yet, maybe in the mirror universe, the noble and generous Ferengi are giving them away for free, which would make them more available than the current mirror ships.) The lobi store would make more sense for a couple of reasons. The lobi store already sells cross faction ships. Can you imagine how much latinum it would cost, and, how crowded the dabo tables would be? Sorry for the rant...again. I guess it's back to the exchange while we wait for the event...
@antonio, while the two "true" Ferengi ships may be out of reach, there is a very appropriate (and cheap) alternative in the Malon Battlecruiser - available off the exchange for a few million EC. It's essentially a very heavily armed bulk freighter, which is a very characterful option for a Ferengi character.

Obviously, it isn't Ferengi ship and can't even compare with them... I mean, D'Kora looks so much better! BUT... you are right that it is suitable for a Ferengi, because it's actually a freighter, and so on... And also, I just couldn't believe how cheap it is! When I saw your post, I immidiately went to check it and I was positively shocked by it's price. So I bought it immidiately, thank you very much for information!
I had to Google "Vorgon" since I didn't know who they were... such a minor race.
Based on the information in the following link the event ship is a Vorgon Xyfius Heavy Escort Carrier. The link includes info on all other things that are coming out for the Summer Event like the new kit modules and the T6 Ferengi Nagus Marauder.
Vorgon Xyfius Heavy Escort [T6] - Summer Event Ship
Escort-Carrier Class
Unordered List ItemTrait - Harraser Mines: While this trait is slotted and either Cannon: Scatter Volley or Beam: Fire at Will is active, your directed energy weapons will trigger a Chroniton Mine to appear within 1.5 km of your target. This can occur once every 20 seconds
Console: Harasser Prober - When this ability is activated, the Vorgon ship will deploy 2 harasser probes that will attack nearby enemies with Chroniton Mines, Tractor Beams and Tetryon Beam arrays at a very close range. Also passively increase tetryon damage.
Hull Strength: 35,250 at level 40, 40,537 at level 50 and 47,000 at level 60
The Lt. Commander Universal/Intelligence Boff station is pretty versatile. I do not really bother analyzing every single ship that comes out. But this is the 1st time I have seen this combo.
The Harraser Mine trait seems to give a good opportunity for spike damage.
Ferengi Nagus Marauder?? Now that's something I am going to fight for!!!

Apologies if I resurrected this old thread. I couldn't find anything anywhere about this Ferengi Nagus Marauder beyond a reference to it on a website that may have repeated info on a now disabled Twitter account about it being an upcoming release.
So how did you come across this? Is it one of those things "select individuals" get as a random player reward? "Acct bound code" suggests this is a acct unlock ship. And definitely not tradable via exchange.
Who does one have to sleep with at cryptic to get one?
Five months ago I received an email from Cryptic/PWE thanking me for supporting the game and asking me to log in and verify that my physical address was correct as they wanted to send a "special package." Not trusting whether it was real and being highly suspicious, I screen captured the email and fired off a message to Customer Support asking whether this was legitimate. They confirmed that it was authentic and reiterated that I follow the instructions on the message, which I did. I figured it was probably some trinket or tchotchke that would end up being a desk ornament and forgot all about it.
Last Wednesday I'd received a shipment notification from FedEx alerting me that Cryptic was shipping something that was going to arrive the next day, which turned out to be a bunch of Enterprise-F stuff (a hat, a shirt, two tumblers), a retail box copy of STO signed by all the devs and a redemption card for the Marauder. I'd never seen this ship mentioned anywhere before and both Google and Reddit weren't much help. The forum search led me to to this thread, though I failed to pay attention to the dates of the posts.

Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.

Ahh.. thanks.

** EDIT **
Ferengi Nagus Marauder?? Now that's something I am going to fight for!!!
First rule of a page about leaks: NEVER post pages containing said leaks on the offical forums of said game.
More like uber limited and account bound
That said you just necro'ed a thread which is against forum rules.
How dare they! Guilty I say! Penalty is Death!!!
