So yeah.. About the most unimaginative content I have seen.. Kill a huge amount of badies with a bunch of pugs who cant get above 5k dps and just when you think your done, mega wave inbound!

Oh and then at the end of the long boring mission... heres 30 marks.
Never doing this que again...

If anything, what gets me about the new RA, is the pop-up spam when in sector space. It even pops up when sitting idle.
Otherwise, the choice of marks is really nice... I like choices.
Really annoying....
As for the mission, I neither like nor dislike it....it is standard bill of fare for STO these days IMO. I do like the choice of marks, though

Other then that, my biggest complaint is the fact that it seems to have completely replaced all other red alerts. I haven't seen a Borg or Tholian Red Alert since the patch.
That part, I definitely don't like.

I see them all the time. Just look when you have 2 red alert signs.
this.
what an annoying idea
I found with my escorts and having the Strategic specialty active, kick in the threat generation... the boost to tanking is scary fun.
Guess I'm just having bad luck then, haven't seen the dual red alert yet.
Whenever I change instances the Na'Kul alert is always up. Is the Na'Kul alert permanent for everyone? I haven't seen even 1 min that it hasn't been up.
How much DPS do you do?
So far I found when any of my toon surpass 50k ISA DPS on their builds the influence of low contributing players in public PvE begin to loose relevance on most maps. Think the new RA is even normal difficulty setting which is likely and supposed to attract new, inexperienced or under geared players which fly bored through sector space. Blaming them for low DPS in a normal map is not cool.

What does annoy me is the pop up in sector space and the fact that the queue seems to attract AFK players like flies.
Should be fixed with tomorrow's patch.

Dont blame you. Big problem with alot of the queue's..mark rewards, rewards in general are severely lacking. Their attempt at keeping people playing longer. But imo, it just drives them away.
50k is not bad. More than enough for any non advanced/elite content. Would be fun to take my 75k+ in there and solo the new alert, but from what ive read, Ill stay away too. ;-)
I Didn’t get around to do the new red alert yet myself. Atm I try to get my toons in order but after the first few test ISA pugs I’m mildly surprised of the new options: 112k TAC toon DPS with Cannons, 79K SCI toon DPS with beams! I think the new system offers a lot for us. Considering is the basic skill tree we are not even talking about real power creep.
I truly believe that any good players around do not need to complain about under-performing peeps anymore. They can cut through 90% of the contend just fine on their own. In my opinion that is a good thing because it has the potential to bring live to queues a great deal.

It's another map which the BFAW crowd can just sit and mash spacebar in for 5 mins whilst everyone else scrambles to get the scraps.
It's the problem with a lot of the team content now, rather than worrying about fighting the enemy we're worrying about whether we'll do enough damage compared to each other and have a chance to actually engage the enemy.
The daily rewards sure are nice.
I suppose if you dislike it so much you must use 'hate' to describe it you can simply not queue for it, that seems simple enough of a solution to your problem.
