Yeah mine's definitely downloading the whole 6GB again, even though I pre patched. No luck in it just transferring the newest files. I'm using the STO launcher & on demand patching has always been off.
Also guys... Pardon my French... But why the heck are you patching when maintenance ain't over yet?!
That always brings about problems... Don't do that wait for maintenance to be over.
I've always patched like this & have never had any problems. When servers are back online I just click Engage & I know all patching is done. Point is, for me, pre patching is useless because I have to do it over again anyway. Was just wondering if it was just me. I also Force verified files, but still downloading 6GB.
I prepatched last week, and this morning I made sure tribble was fully patched before they took the game offline. I don't enable on-demand patching.
Just laoded the launcher and its quite intelligent, it used a mix of last weeks prepatch and todays tribble "snapshot" and I don't think it actually downloaded anything at all - it rapidly did the whole 6gb patch in about 25 seconds (SSDs FTW) and I'm good to go as soon as the server goes green
Nice, you almost do the same I do... Instead of SSD i got a WD Black 1TB HDD running all my games, and a Samsung 850 evo 120GB SSD (brand new just got the about a month ago) SSDs ftw...

Hmm... I could have sworn I had the same configuration setup on both desktop and laptop.
