TRIBBLE MAINTENANCE AND RELEASE NOTES - APRIL 6, 2016

Tribble has been updated to: ST.60.20160319a.15.

General:
  • Resolved an issue causing graphic related crashes with minimum requirement level AMD cards.
  • Resolved an issue which occasionally caused a crash when a mission step was completed.
  • Resolved an issue where Withering Disruptor Beam Arrays did not have any audio effects.
  • Foundry:
    • Added Terran Task Force pieces for females to the Costume Editor.
    • Added the Terran Odyssey Upper for females to the Costume Editor.
  • Resolved an issue which was allowing some players to have a ship costume when on a ground map.

Systems:
  • Resolved an issue with Concentrate Firepower that was making the triggered Kinetic damage non-responsive to both resistances and strengths.
  • Strategist Secondary Specialization:
    • Added new icons and background image.
    • Diversionary Tactics now increases your threat generation by 33% while Threatening Stance is active.
  • Resolved an issue where the space Agony Phaser's Disable proc was not triggering correctly.
  • Delta Alliance Deflector Array can no longer be slotted in the Visuals Tab.
  • Dyson Combat Engines can no longer be slotted in the Visuals Tab.
  • Romulan Advanced Prototype Impulse Engines can no longer be slotted in the Visuals Tab.

Skill Revamp:
  • Resolved an issue that was causing every Ground Skill Point after the first one to be awarded one level too early.
  • The shield regeneration increase granted by Shield Subsystem Power has been doubled, from +5% @ 100 power to +10% @ 100 power.
    • Fixed a typo in the description for the Shield Regeneration Skill that indicated it was 10x as effective as it actually is.
  • The effects of Control Amplification and Drain Infection now last 10 seconds each and subsequent applications refresh the duration instead of being discarded.
    • Long duration abilities and hazards still only apply this effect once per activation (Tachyon Beam, Gravity Well, Eject Warp Plasma, etc).
    • Control Amplification has been updated to work with the following abilities:
      • Eject Warp Plasma
      • Control Amplification
      • Ionic Turbulence
      • Singularity Jump
      • Vent Theta Radiation
      • Subspace Integration Circuit
      • Constriction Anchor
      • Projected Singularity
      • Spatial Sinkhole
      • Subspace Eddy
      • Gravitic Anchor
    • Drain Infection has been updated to work with the following abilities:
      • Subspace Integration Circuit
      • Destabilizing Resonance Beam
      • Polymorphic Probe Array
      • Sabotage Probe Launcher
      • Aceton Assimilator
      • Aceton Field Generator
  • Removed skill trainer dialogs and chats.
  • Added sub-descriptions to the Weapon Proficiency, Personal Shields, Willpower, and Combat Specialist skills
  • Expanded the Skill Description for Weapon Proficiency (Ground) to reflect further details about the benefit it grants.
  • Reworded Skill Description for Hull Penetration - Fixed a typo in the Skill Descriptions for all ranks of Hull Plating.
  • Graviton Spike (Kit Module) now scales with Kit Performance.
  • Fixed a lingering skill translation issue on all Versatile Fleet Kits, so they now refer to Kit Performance instead of the deprecated profession Skills.
  • Disabling respec and power buying when the player is dead.
  • Drain Infection now only ticks 10 times instead of 11.
  • Duty Officer that used to improve Abandon Ship has been rebuilt.
    • The new functionality ties in with the newly-introduced Threatening Stance:
      • While active, outgoing torpedoes have a chance to Taunt your foes.
      • While inactive, outgoing torpedoes have a chance to Placate your foes.
      • Higher qualities of this Doff improve the chances of a proc.
  • Fixed a bug with Concentrate Firepower that was making the triggered Kinetic damage non-responsive to resistances.
  • Retrain button now only appears when there are points spent in space/ground trees.
  • Updated descriptions on Control Amplification and Drain Infection to match their updated mechanics.
  • Fixed a bug that was causing Gravity Well to not properly apply Control Amplification.
  • Updated descriptions for many Space and Ground skills.

Known Issues:
  • The Skill System Revamp is still a work in progress:
    • There may be lingering mentions of “Crew” on reward packs and other items.
  • The Strategist Secondary Skill is still a work in progress.
  • The ships Visuals Tab is still a work in progress.
  • The Romulan Republic Admiralty Campaign is still a work in progress.

    So at least one more build incoming with the Shield Weakening change? And hopefully a system-space benefit for formerly Drv mods on impulse engines?

    The Shield Weakening change should be on Tribble currently. I am uncertain of why it did not get patch notes.

    How long has this been an issue? I.E. is this something Tribble only, or is this one of the reasons I found it lackluster compared to a beam array more beam spam for FAW last I tried it on Holodeck?

    SO..TBR..is not a control ability? Therefore not getting the control Amplification?

    The patch notes for this patch are abilities that now work with Control Amplification that had not been previously. Many abilities, including Tractor Beam Repulsors, had previously been functioning properly with Control Amplification and continue to do so as of this patch.

    I just looked: "Shield Weakening" has replaced "Shield Penetration" at this time.

    So... is the nerf to the maximum duration of EPS Manifold Efficiency intentional and will it remain as such when Season 11.5 goes to Holodeck? Should I expect to see my current 20+ sec durations for that ability go away as a result of the Skill Revamp?

      It's a bug that pops up every now and then that causes your ship to beam down instead of your captain. I've also had my captain trying to run around on a space map (you are essentially rooted in that situation). It's rather funny the first time one of those two happens, annoying afterwards.

      Pretty rare occurrences nowadays, for the most part they fixed it years ago.
