    Damn Annoying Arc Rewards... :s

    1) Not seen one STO reward.
    2) A multi day (log into Arc on 5 days) disappeared after completing day 1
    3) Dismiss one quest - get the same one back (5 time in one week)....

I thought it would be a cool idea to earn points whilst playing but it turns out to essentially be a shoddy doff/admiralty style game just to earn the points. Finding a quest that isn't bugged or if something you'll actually be able to complete is a royal pain in the TRIBBLE. I'm not playing alternative games as i don't have the time nor am i messing about setting up quests when i'm not even in the game yet.
I'll save my free gaming time for playing an actual game thank you.

mikoto123a , c0nsi and others who may have such a new issue of disappearing quest, please report to support on your specific Arc 3.0/quest newly disappearance issue, and they will check.

(Tried to report this as a POSSIBLE returning/non fully fixed issue (though I didn't really know if it's so), but since I didn't have this issue myself, then, if I understood correctly, you need to report your own issue and they will be able to check it then - a thing possible on accounts which actually have that issue. So reporting could probably help both you and in general, in case there is still a global issue.)

To be honest - don't expect to be high on a priority list so flagged it here in the hope a Dev e.g. LaughingTrendy noticing it.

Yup, I'm expecting something like 10,000 Arc Points for 10 ZEN.

From this article, you are correct.

1000 Arc Points = 1 Zen, minimum buy of 5 Zen.

    http://www.arcgames.com/en/games/champions-online/news/detail/9839863-arc-quests-reward-you-for-discovering-new-games

So 5000 Arc Points for the minimum buy.
1000 APs, 4000 to go. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
    :|;)

The new arc is terrible, the layout of the old arc was much more user friendly. When Arc loaded you went straight to the library of games you had installed. The program is slower and more ad filled then before, much like these forums rather then upgrading the software you've managed to downgrade the software.

No amount of bribing is going to get me to play any of the other crappy perfect world games. In fact this change has gotten me to stop using Arc all together.

I'd rather have a uniform, than the measly amount of zen you get for playing extreme amounts of quests. That and it's useless bloatware.

As one of those people, who still use the old Cryptic launcher, why do I need ARC launch chewing up more RAM in the background? I don't use Steam, Glyph, or other game launchers. The day Cryptic makes ARC mandatory for their games is the day the game is really over.

I don't see many users singing the praises of ARC here, but those of you who like it, good for you. It should remain the option, NOT the disadvantage. It is my opinion that Cryptic should offer the users both launchers and see what the users download the most. Then again, that would probably infringe on some diabolic agreement made by their evil overlords.

Don't you require Glyph to play Archeage? I use Steam to play STO, but recently I keep having problems with it. Constant crashes and errors, and I still have the problem of missing animations not playing properly. I.e. the spray and party horn.

I stopped playing Rift the day they introduced Glyph. I am a old lady with a disability check, nothing but time on my hands, so in the long run Trion saved me a ton of money cutting off my addiction to their games. I wish I could say the same thing about Facebook. If you click my siggy, it takes you to the Foundry Author's Facebook group. You don't have to join it to browse the topics, but you are more than welcome to join in our discussions. Someone in my group posted a link to both the Neverwinter and Star Trek "Classic Launchers". Those are the Launchers I still use to this day.

I use to play a lot of other games by PWE and when they introduced ARC, I stopped playing them. Those are broken games to me. It is just my opinion. After all, I am only in a small 45% demographic of the people who pay to play video games online. It is not really that important of an issue.

I play Rift and yes, the Glyph launcher is required to load the game, but you have an option to shut off Glyph once the game is loaded. If Arc had that feature, I wouldn't be against its use.
