do you care, an insult? really? oh and how wonderful a dev decides to comment? marvelous people that they are, yup thin skinned indeed, and if your not looking to improve dps and interacting with most of the community I have to conclude you are playing with yourself, is that an insult too?
Your assumptions are wrong. My DPS is fine as it is, I'm already done improving it. And no, I didn't really need a parser for that.
And I most certainly didn't worry, nor whine, nor verbally attack anyone for a (to be corrected) change that was made to a friggin' parser. There's more important things in life to worry about. As for that 'most of the community' part: I'm fairly certain that most of the community doesn't give a TRIBBLE about DPS. They like to play the game, not worry about some (often heavily inflated) numbers.
Funny how you talk about this 'community' btw when you haven't written a single post yet that can be described as constructive or non-flammatory.
I am still baffled as to how asking if someone actually cares is an insult or a verbal attack in the real world?
How thin skinned the children of today are it seems.
messing with the system in a way that interferes with how a large part of the community plays the game without having the fix already to hand means one of two things, they did not know how that large segment of their community plays the game or they did not care, they have already said it will be fixed, why not fix it at the same time as the changes are made, either a lack of understanding or a lack of care, or perhaps a lack of ability, do you think the dev might have added some explanation or were you happy with 12 words?
im just glad they are looking into a fix. its a pain in the but right now but at least it's manageable, live data is helpful but the end result data is more what u want anyway. I can deal with it till there is a fix.
We are going to be adding a method to disable this in a future patch.
And with this quote, I believe that should be sufficient answer. This thread has gone awry enough as it is.
