The Krenim Science Vessel bridges the gap between the Krenim Imperium Warship and the Krenim Annorax Science Dreadnought. It is quite large and slow to maneuver, unlike most science vessels. It does, however, boast a sturdier hull and incredibly powerful shield emitters.

This might actually replace my Vesta. Temporarily of course Nothing can replace the Vesta on a permanent basis, certainly not a temporal ship...
Now I can actually go create the long wanted, but never created Romulan Sci character.
That is actually very exciting, it's exactly what I've wanted from a science ship. Pretty much an upgrade from my Vesta build will fit this quite well. This thing should tank like a TRIBBLE!
Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.

You Sir, have no idea what you're talking about.
This ship is more than capable by the looks of things. Not everything has to have 8 beams blazing FAW-spam or be flying round at a billion miles and hour to be good.
Wait. It's Free?
incorrect, even on a science ship the bulk of your damage should be coming from your weapons.
I mean as a leading member of the DPS league surely you've seen science ship parses?
So yes weapons can be useful but on a true particle generator science build they are totally irrelevant.
...Idk man, idk...

Tacs are overrated.

You haven't been following news much, have you? From this year Summer event onwards, previous years' event 'currencies' can't be used for new ships anymore. That's also why announcements like this one show up before new events. And present you with a way to spend any surplus old 'currencies' you may have.
Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.
Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!
I have been though i had hoped they wouldnt do the same for the anni, i know i shouldnt have held out hope its forsaken in these lands, so i suppose i will log in later and give the qmendations the ole heave ho.
That's cool, I'm happy for his accomplishment but my point is that science was designed to function differently and building yet another BFAW spam boat on an overpowered and incredibly expensive ship while tacking a few easily abused science abilities on doesn't really qualify in my mind as science nor does it set a precedent for the majority of players.
I'm not saying that's necessarily what he did but I know this is what some in the league do and pass it off as "science" which is actually quite insulting. Maybe I'm just a purist but science is perfectly capable of handling itself DPS wise without needing to rely of energy weapons.
So I guess my issue is with the definition of "science." I see energy weapon builds on science ships in the same way as beam builds on an escort... It can be done but it just feels wrong.
Anyways just my 2 ec.
10 minutes a day is to much? Every event ships once a day quests don't take more then that to do. And since they made it to where only one toon is needed to get for all of your toons.
so you have not flown a nebula class ship around before? its a nice ship to fly. when you get specific rep/spec skills or use of "thrill seeker" skill for space, you can also use rcs consoles and all of these will help improve your flying ability.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
I'll grind it out, strip it for the console and Starship Trait, and continue flying my R'Mor for PvP (with a nice reduction to my Sci power CDs and some added FBP mayhem).
