Romulan BOFF missions still missing

in PC Gameplay Bug Reports
Is there any sort of ETA of when the romulan BOFF missions are going to be put back into the database?

    I have 4 Romulans, and have not seen a single Romulan or Remen BOFF duty officer mission show up since Season 11 hit either, which is great seeing as how it also seemed to be broke most of Season 10 as well. It really is frustrating to make new characters and not be able to get good bridge officers because the recruitment missions do not work. No, I do not want to fill it with Orions, Klingons, Gorn, or Nausicans.

    I can't help but feel like if this happened to the Fed's with humans, there would be an emergency patch the next day to fix it, but it is this way for Romulan's constantly, and never for just a week, it's for months on end.

    You're probably right. I also noticed that, while there's a few ships for feds that you can buy for 200k fleet cred., there aren't any for romulans. I guess, like the KDF, the romulans are always going to get the shaft.

    Yeah, sadly.. right now the only way to get SRO Boffs without paying through the nose is to make a new Romulan and level them up for the BoFF candidates.

    It would be nice if they would fix these DoFF missions, but it's pretty clear that they don't consider it a major concern. :(

    There's always the embassy boffs too, but when you're in a big fleet, earning fleet cred. gets difficult. (Hint, hint, cryptic.)

    True, the lack of acknowledgment on this is the most annoying part. Never listed in the known bugs, or anything. It will get fixed halfway to S12 if we are lucky, and be broken again when S12 rolls out most likely.

    I no longer do any Bug Hunting work for Cryptic. I may resume if a serious attempt to fix the game is made.

    Offering some sort of temporary alternative would be nice. Maybe a limited time, free, purple rom boff (character bound) in the promo tab with SRO and subterfuge with choice of career/gender. At least until this gets fixed. It's kind sucky being stuck with federation boffs. >_>

    Thank you, I know it can be hard to figure things out, I readily accept that. I do know this: For about the 2 months before S11 hit I was getting at least 2 missions a week for Romulan BOFF's in the Duty Officer System (Though I feel like they were missing for a we months before that as well.), and have not seen one since. I have 4 Romulans, they all go to Rom space/New Romulus almost every day to check and see if the missions show up, and I will check on the planet and in sector space. If I am feeling ambitious and have the time I will check multiple times in one day.

    That said, it is pretty obvious that the DOFF system is pretty borked as of late, hopefully a solution can be found to fix it, or maybe get it mostly working so time can be spent rebuilding it from the ground up.

    Anyways, thanks again for taking the time to speak up and let us know you will do what you can. It is appreciated. :)

    Agreed, I too have four Romulan characters (two pre-S11 and two post) and it's very simple to tell that the missions are not popping. Hopefully something can get done about it sooner than later. =/

    Just create one or two (preferably two (or more I guess to increase %)) and you'll draw a conclusion pretty quick. As per your previous post I already gather you have pre s12 romulan characters as well. With the four I have currently (two pre- and two post estimated bug creation time) it's blatantly obvious.

    Assuming the missions either got deleted by accident or some statement got nulled or something (not a database jockey so couldn't say for sure). But near as I can tell this happened at the same time Exploration fell out of the mission database.

    Seriously, as a Romulan main, this is annoying as (insert location of eternal retribution of your choice here), and the fact that it has gone unfixed for so long is even worse.
