Scheduled Maintenance [Decemeber 31st, 2015]

Greetings Captains!

We will be having our holiday scheduled maintenance tomorrow 12/31 at 7AM PST for 2 1/2 hours. We will be just performing a shard restart, so there are no patch notes. Unless I start making them up. You don't want that to happen.

I don't know about a sale, but do keep in mind that the upgrade weekend starts when the server comes back up.

If you have gear you're looking to improve (and honestly, who doesn't?) then it's a weekend you probably don't want to miss.

Is this restart going to have extended maintenance too?! :P Sometimes the simplest things are the biggest issues keeping STO's server running.

So, I take it the cheating and exploiting in the Winter pvp race is getting no fixes?

To be honest, we were really hoping the last restart was going to be the fix.

Any word on finally getting a solution to the Crimson, AMD and Windows 10 problem? Been almost a month now. Not going to roll back to an older version of the driver just for this one game. But it would be nice for all of us AMD users if we could play the game like we used to.

The issues with STO and the Crimson drivers are not just related to Windows 10. They also affect Windows 8 and Windows 7 users. If and when PWE decides to update the ancient code this game runs on, clearly doesn't seem to be any sort of priority for them.

They were re-playable for a good while. Atleast before I took a break from STO. :P I believe they were made non re-playable because of people grinding them. It's stupid. Should just remove / reduce the rewards instead. Not totally remove the missions. Once you reach level 60 on FED, ROM and KDF you quickly run out of things to do!

I'm honestly happy that this restart might fix some of the lag and rubber banding that has been happening for the past few days.

Why do people think today is a holiday? Where STO's office is located, it is still December 31st 2015. New Years Eve is not a holiday in most countries!
