I cannot get the game to launch at all from Arc. Launcher is up and running and it patched fine after maintenance but now it just says "Unable to connect to account server (3)"

You can use the stand alone launcher in your Star Trek Online directory ...

Tried that but getting constant DC's now so I gave up and went to do something else. Guess I won't be spending any pennies in the ship sale after all!
Dear Cryptic, pardon whilst I express my displeasure. Basically since Thanksgiving you have had some sort of zen grabbing sale up. You couldn't allow this upgrade weekend to stand alone to drop the exchange maybe 10 whole big points? Couldn't wait a couple days for another sale??? You have been decent generally over the past year and a half with trying to maintain some sense of balance for the exchange. Has that been thrown out the window with the baby's bath water?

Nice work Trendy, stealthed in another sale. So lets see now- couldn't claim the free T5 Ar'kif on my lvl 42 rommie because only a lvl50 and above qualifies even tho I was using a T6 breen ship at the time. Missed the 1 day unannounced black Friday sale. Nothing thru Christmas, then another sale on New Years eve only announced on the main ARC webpage.
Do me a favor, shoot this note up to the feedback guys telling them I'm done with STO for a while because I cannot take their method of advertising any longer. Tell them I'll await their letter in 9 months offering me another free T6 ship to try to bribe me to come back and play. This game hasn't been fun in a long while and even the grinding for dilith and gear isn't interesting anymore. Good luck keeping the game running, I'm sure there's still many people out there who haven't discovered how much of a time sink an MMO can be *STO is the posterchild for time sinks, or should be). I can't take it anymore.
Oh, and CBS / Paramount execs if your reading- I hope the Axanar people get your lawsuit tossed, it's one of the few good things left in the franchise and if you kill it, you might as well sell the franchise.
