Minimize zone chat if you haven't seen Star Wars

Just wanted to give a heads up.

There are some people going around shouting spoilers for the new Star Wars movie in zone chat. Why they're doing this.. I really don't know, but if you haven't seen it yet, be cautious when you're in game. I caught the tail end of it earlier today, and word is its happened a few times today.

Just to be perfectly clear, this is only intended to warn players, and not place any blame on Cryptic or PWE. This is not their fault and is almost impossible to prevent. The fault lies solely with those choosing to behave this way. Just be careful with chat until you see the movie (if you care about Star Wars.)

    Just avoid the internet until you see it. Youtube and facebook comments are full of spoilers. Even typing character's names into google gives spoilers via autocomplete. You've waited 10 years for this, so just hang on a few more days. Having seen it yesterday, trust me, its worth it.

    Not all that bothered with spoiler's, as I will watch it regardless.

    I have zone chat disabled anyways.

    I turned off Zone as well when I saw something I THOUGHT might be a major spoiler. I cut off the chat quick enough that I am not sure if what I saw was the real thing or a troll making something up...but yeah...sound advice indeed.

    I have had zone chat disabled for years. Nothing good comes overi t except people whining and crying and starting arguments over stupid stuff.

    Just think a remake of a new hope then you'll get the idea of how he has ripped off another film and called it "new"

    I occasionally turn zone on to ask for teams on Defera. Never otherwise.

    Kinda what I figured...didn't have high hopes for the movie after what he did to Trek...seems good at taking a franchise and making it generic so the mindless crowds will see it in by the thousands for a 2 hour long special effects and lens flair show.

    In this case, Star Wars was a lot more about action than Star Trek...so adding explosions and lens flairs wouldn't add a whole lot...since he couldn't do that to make the movie *great* he went the next logical step...rip off what made Star Wars great in the first place...the original...the legend that started it all...A New Hope.

    I've already seen it (loved it btw, despite a few issues) but this is why I never have Zone logged into since starting STO... you think Mos Eisley was bad? You ain't never seen a more wretched hive of scum and villainy than Zone

    If only we could minimize real life. I've been reading horror stories of jerks screaming out spoilers inside of theater lobbies to ticket buyers. That's why when I go to see TFA, as soon as I step inside the building, I'm going to have my mp3 player going full blast, lol.

    Before anyone has a fit, these are not real spoilers.

    Everyone will have their opinions, personally, I loved the movie. I would have been upset though if someone spoiled it for me before I had a chance to see it.

    If you like Star Wars, you should see it. It was worlds better then the 3 episodes of pure garbage we got last go around.

    Stop listening to other people. Watch it yourself to see how you like it. The movie is great. It harkens back to Episode 4, but it's not a direct copy and paste. The new characters are fantastic.

    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    They are doing it because of the people that are acting as if they life will be completely ruined if they hear a single spoiler.
    Well excuse me for having enormous flaws that I don't work on.
