Mailing items & boffs not working/ Tailor UI really slow & sluggish

Ever since deleting exchange mail was temporarily disabled, I haven't been able to add attachments to mail. At any mail terminal, be it items or bridge officers, dragging it into the attachment slots does nothing. The slots remain blank. The items/boffs are not bound in any way. Don't really care about items so much, I have an account-bank for that, but it'd sure be nice to be able to move boffs in my candidate roster around again.
EDIT: I noticed it only seems be affecting characters that received exchange mail during that outage.
Of course, wouldn't be a problem if I could just put boffs in the account-bank. *hint hint, devs*
Having to use mail to transfer anything (to yourself) is inefficient and a little outdated, if you ask me.
Secondly, the UI is super slow and sluggish when editing a costume, regardless of graphic settings. Have to click things 2-4 times to get sliders to move or colors to change. Seems like it's hogging memory, too. Been that way since S11 launched. Granted, the UI in game (power trays, bank consoles, etc) is sluggish and unresponsive in general since S11.
Hopefully this can get fixed.

I had received reports from other fleet members concerning the lag and general sluggishness in the tailor and I can confirm this through me own experience yesterday.
i started a new character yesterday and found today i couldn't send anything even a blank mail
it'd vanish as though id sent it but i wouldn't receive it
after re thinking back at what i might have done i realized id messed with the privacy settings
and id ticked only friends can send mail it turns out im not a friend of myself so cant send mail to myself
just a thought of something to look into
might be something else affecting you
That's the thing, I haven't even gotten to the point of actually trying to send the mail, cuz it won't let me drag items into the attachment slots. So, it's not a matter of settings, it's that something is screwed up with the mail.
So, it's more an issue of missing/invisible icons, then?
