People play with the aound on? Why? You may accidentally hear a TOS phaser.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

I use those because I like the noise
I use the mission ones for my Andorian because they're blue.

Better situational awareness.
Used to be very important if you didn't want to miss a ship buffing up before a big alpha strike from cloak.
Also, I can't make the sound effects myself like I used to as a kid.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
People said that the EPS console was THE MOST important thing ever? Because it apparently reduced the time it takes after a phaser for example has discharged, the power returned back into the system much faster.
I thought it was just the rate if I changed power setting, should I replace it?
High eps is a skill that effects power recharge in general, so if you lose power firing for instance, or drain a ship with the leech, it transfers power more quickly.
And yes, changing a power setting is effected as well!
What about my current console setup? How is that working out for me? lol
I would strongly consider replacing those Tactical Phaser Relay consoles with Vulnerability Locator consoles with the Phaser mod from a Fleet Spire. I noticed that on your first picture your critical chance is 2.5%, which seems very low. If you get 3 Locator consoles, this will add ~5.4-5.7 to your critical chance depending on if they go to Epic when you upgrade them to Mk XIV, while giving you the same damage boost to phaser damage that the Relays are giving you right now.
If you slot the Romulan reputation trait "Precision", this will add another 4% to your critical chance, and I'm sure that you will see a significant improvement.
Additionally, if you are using any "basic" science consoles (like the ones that give a boost to flow capacitors only), I would suggest replacing them with Plasma-generating science consoles from a Fleet Embassy with the same mods that you want (i.e. flow capacitors). These are cheap at Mk X and are very effective when upgraded.
