unable to join Fast and Flurrious race

This has happened twice, two separate characters, two separate accounts, but same circumstances and result.
First Fast and Flurrious race of the hour worked fine. Joined, raced, grabbed flag.
Returned to start for second race, but when "join the race" button appears it won't let me join. I can click it over and over, my character has the flash appear around them, and sometimes even the green flashing "waiting to race" appears, but the "join the race" button keeps appearing (no matter how many times I click it) until race start and, if I run the race, I can't grab any of the flags as if I never joined.

    I have come across the same problem and as far I can work out it happens when you try to enter the race for the second time in a given hour i.e. you complete the first race and go back to the start for the second. If I complete the first race of the hour and then switch to another character on my account I can run the second race of the hour perfectly fine.

    i too am having this same problem, first race works fine, second race won't let me join, very frustrating

    Confirmed. Same character within same hour, second race glitches. Different characters within same hour, no problem.
    So apparently this year, beside the fact that the devs removed half the available races for epohh tags per hour compared to previous years (thanks a whole helluva lot), now you can't do two races in the same hour on the same character. So anyone with a single-character account is pretty much screwed twice (luckily, I have plenty of characters...that need a whole lot of tags...with half as many races...GRRRrrr...).

    I think this is specific to you guys. I can run both times no problems. And it doesn't matter which flag I tag either. What I have noticed is that I will fall out from the "join the race"-thingy and have to do it again if I made myself a snow man...

    so you have to constantly switch characters to do the race? i say that would make it broken wouldn't you? what a frustrating pain in the badonk!

    I suffer from the same: the first one goes, the second one - nope. Must wait 1 hour to go again.​​

    yeah i tried it with two different characters and was able to complete both races, still pretty sad its a prerequisite for Q's winter wonderland that you must have two characters :-(

    I have noticed that I am able to do the first race fine, but the second race I can join, run race but when I get to the flag it is like I was not part of the race so I can't get the flag and once someone claims the flags it shows me the race is over. Very frustrating

    Originally we had 4 races per hour plus we could get tags from piles. Then they removed tags from piles. After that number of races were nerfed to 3 per hour. This year they nerfed number of races again and now we have 2 races per hour. There is 17 minutes interval Between the ending of Tide of Ice and the beginning of Snowball Fight. This is more than enough for arranging of 4 races per hour.

    ...and, after patch today, STILL bugged. Wasn't even acknowledged in Release Notes for today. FIX PLEASE!
