Honestly, it would make the most sense if all of the uniforms got insta-changed to some form of civilian clothing, since that's what the Starfleet officers on the station (mostly) think you are anyway. Minor dialog tweaks and not much else would need to be updated. Though I could certainly live without enduring the nerve tonic grind ever again... I'd never miss it, and it's really not that important to the storyline.
Other than that, there are some cool elements of that mission that could be preserved such as sneaking around avoiding security, etc. The Delta recruit time travel tie-in is a particularly nice touch.
I like your thoughts on this topic.
The nerve tonic for the alcholic can easily be changed by allowing the players to slap her a few times it worked in that era when women and others were hysterical why not here.
I just memorized exactly what she wants and get it done quickly every time.
"He shall be my finest warrior, this generic man who was forced upon me.
Like a badass I shall make him look, and in the furnace of war I shall forge him.
he shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In great armour I shall clad him and with the mightiest weapons he shall be armed.
He will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight him.
He shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe will best him in battle.
He is my answer to cryptic logic, he is the Defender of my Romulan Crew.
He is Tovan Khev... and he shall know no fear."

If only such things were worth rememebering when there are so many movie quotes that are superior knowledge to fill the space

I probably would too, if I re-ran the mission enough

My character Tsin'xing
Oh sure, take all of the frustration out of it.
Yeah I'm not exactly sure how I set my sword to stun, maybe in that episode I just smack them with the flat of the blade or something.
