    The only thing of ANY interest is the Admiralty card for the T6 ship.

    Fastest game on ice is back.​​
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    The winter event is, and always has been, my favorite part of STO. Snowconians...sounds interesting this year. See ya there!

    Chuckled at the mention of shave ice. I'd loved to have seen, and it would have been so apropo, to see Mirror Universe Snow and Gingerbread people and themes...

    Risa got me hooked on this game, so I hope winter is just as fun, particularly the ship reward (assuming there is one, and that I don't have to do it on all of my characters).

    Although you won't be able to surf or use a floater, there's a lot of fun things to do: ice skating if you get the snow boots (which are also useable outside the Winter event), ice-racing against other players, fighting against snowmen in, it seems, three different events this year, collect candy and presents for accolades in the Gingerbread invasion mission and explore the map, just like on Risa. And of course you can collect Eppohs.

    And yes, there will be a ship and probably some useful gear as well.

    So much this ^ I would rather do this race any day than the frustrating griefable rubbish that is the Q boxes at Academy that the Anniversary event has become.

    It will be interesting to see the metrics for this as I expect due to the changes players will be spending a lot less time in winter wonder land then previous years. Pretty much everyone I know has lost the incentive to log in every day of the event. Many players that used to log in every day will now average out much less at around 14 days due to the changes.

    I just wish these alternate things to do during the events also gave some amount of winter vouchers. even if it was just 1 or 2 per day. It gets boring having this whole area and the only thing that hold true value for players is the race which is the least fun part of the whole zone. Then make everything in the zone require the same winter vouchers so if you want you have a variety of options to play through to gain them.

    Or at least make these account bound and allow us to run them on other characters. same amount of game time but less time in real world needs to be worked around. Plus never know how many people might go "Oh I haven't played this X in a while lemme take it on a mission" then end up picking some stuff up in C-Store for that character...

    Aww man, the ship is still tied to the race. :( New events and still not one other event offered as a second means to the prize.

    I'll still check it out if new costumes or other smaller prizes are offered that interest me though. I have a Reman that could use some better kit modules than what she has. (Please say the endothermic induction field will be back...)
