HELP. I Cant use my ev suit in stormbound.

the title says it. i put on the ev suit and no activation button shows up. please help.

    You equip it in your Armor slot, and you should get a popup above your power bar that lets you activate the suit.

    You may have to turn that back on - under "HUD screen setup"
    You can hide/unhide the EV suit activation button, I would guess that's your problem.

    i cant even find it in the hud setup. and i never hid it.

    yeah that doesnt even show up in the hud setup. i dont know what happened...

    Alternatively, I believe you can activate it through your powers menu (default key bind 'p')

    ok i went into settings and hit load ui and that fixed it.

    Do they provide a suit in the mission or do you need to bring your own? I have a new alt I want to play this with for the space set.

    Dil store, you can buy the cheapo "Used" EV suit, if you just need something to get you through the mission. Not sure if you get a suit during the mission (like the Solanea missions). Haven't played it yet.

    you do get a set of five suits in the mission for free

    hmm unfortunately I can't continue the mission at that point. The only option is to pick up more environmental suits?

    you have to equip them on yourself and your bridge officers and activate it on you

    Yes I have everyone in suits and have activated it. Edit got it 3rd beam out did the trick.

    It's no problem. Very nice mission and fun to be a part of Picard's Risa adventures. Also had to beam out and back once on Risa but that also did the trick.

    It's not in the HUD setup. It's a button on the right side of the power tray (where the tray customization buttons are).

    I'm on the Xbox and having the same issue. The activation doesn't show up in the LB wheel. I tried going outside and activating it and coming back in but it deactivated again. I see comments going back to 2015 WTF!! can't these idiots fix a simple bug in that many years?!

    It's amazing that you managed to find this ancient thread, but the bug you are struggling with is new. Just today there is a problem with EV suits on PC as well. Landing on Nukara, you automatically have an EV suit appearance even if you aren't wearing one. Actually putting one on doesn't change it to the appearance of the suit you chose, either. It stays with a generic EV suit look. The button to activate your suit doesn't show in the frame, either. You have to click the blank spot and hope it's set correctly when you beam out to the surface. Looks like they may have messed with something, maybe while working on the separate EV suit system, and broke the existing default EV suit interface.

    It was working for me a few weeks ago when doing the TOS Tholian episode on Xbox.

    You can try describing your sequence of steps in more detail, but this will be locked because reviving threads more than 30 days old is against forum rules. Necromancy is against the Forum Directives.

    Also, insults are not allowed here, and ranting won't get your problem solved.

    You're correct this is a new one and they are rushing out a patch right now:
