This is what happens when I try to do too many things at once.
You also killed my Banana.
Never mind... he got a re-peel.

Are we looking at a Shuttle Event like the first one, where the special small craft queues were the only ones without cooldowns?
Not great timing, given that Mirror is still running. Maybe after that had completed its term there would be more folks looking to run the small craft queues, but the nature of Mirror (enforced minimum duration, single-character unlock, and one-time-only reward access) is likely to cut into Shuttle Event participation significantly.
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.

Unless....
They sneak in a Mirror Invasion - Shuttle Edition... 0.o?
I'm having a dilema, I plan on using my delta flyer for the event as a torpedo boat.
Romulan hyperplasma
Omega torpedo
MACO set
Warp core with [AMP]
But i don't know what consoles should I use, I have access to:
Polymorphic probe
Plasmonic Leech
Plasma manifold
Isometric charge
Spatial Charges
Repair platform
Regenerative integrity field
All reputation, mission, RnD and fleet consoles
I've been thinking about Ferrofluid console, +Plasma projectile damage console, but I don't know what to use as a third option.
Plasmonic leech doesn't work with projectiles so I would have to use beams, and I don't think it's worth it on a shuttle.
Polymorphic probes and repair platforms sound good as support consoles.
Spatial charges bring down Elachi walkers quite easily but have long cooldown.
Isometric charge basically instakill small craft but also long cooldown.

Maybe slot the 3 piece Rom Weapons set. Shuttle events a lot of things are flying around so hard to hit with Spatial charges.
Yawn. not that shuttles are boring but the rewards vs re-setting up a shuttle aren't there. That and the only one worth playing is the fleet alert. The rest of them are poor missions.

Exactly... Two things at once? Ridiculous!

How many of you also think that STO needs new shuttles to replace Starfleet's Type-8, and Peregrine, as well as the Romulan runabout from DS9 and the Scorpion fighter?

Eh, it's not the two things that's the problem... just the nature of one vs. the other.
Then again, if you have a group to intentionally do an AFK Mirror run (not a PUG, that's just not polite) you could literally do two things at once if you're running multiple instances of STO. I don't have the rig or the alt accounts to do that, but now that you mention it I can see that happening. Personally, though, I'm going to prioritize the limited-access unlock over bonus Marks, especially with the convenience of Choice crates.

The one thing of anything in this game that needs a revamp its the small craft shuttle/fighter design. It's about like using a b'rel in enhanced battle cloak mode except worse. That is my 2 cents on the issue the only thing without spending a lot of time on it is putting more powers into these kinds of ships. Mostly because of survival because what happens is players that aren't very skilled at flying the actual ships in combat get destroyed instantly and then they rage quit and then the whole purpose for an event like this falls apart. Not trying to flame anyone but if its not fun for everyone in that aspect its just not going to be something fun/looked forward to as an event to get people in the game for the whole purpose of the event.
Anyways if said development was put into small craft like I am suggesting I would be very excited about an event like this. The only other aspect is I hope they made the fleet alert cross faction because the queue never pops for KDF for stuff more than 5 ppl. Anyways here is another aspect of hope that hopefully is addressed in the future which based on metrics which is clear to see the small craft getting revamp should have occurred before this event came out.
3 of the best events IIRC (Dil weekend, Bonus Upgrade Weekend, and the Shuttle Event) overlapping with the Mirror Invasion.
I'm never running all my alts through another such bonus event except perhaps Crystalline Entity.
Mirror Invasion Advanced has been as bad as it gets with the forced timers, the invisible exploiters/AFKers, those who get D/C or Crash and for some reason can't log back in, and of course there's no match without those who are oblivious to everything relating to the mission objectives, which goes to show that even a clear video explaining what to do in as simple language as possible (no doubt that gets sub-translated in more than just English) still exceeds the IQ capacity/attention spans of the majority of players.
I manage to solo-power the station for the first optional, but the inability for them to cease clearing the map and use evasive maneuvers etc., to get to the next rift and either A. draw aggro or B. close rifts, followed by C. get to the Dread for the last PUG achievable optional time and time again is frustrating.
If anything, it goes to show that I should minimize my time in STO and find another MMO with lots of PvP so that those same oblivious players (not meant to be an insult, it's a fact that can be observed repeatedly as if STO runs on new players with very high turn-over) will either begin to pay attention and try at least a little or get completely owned and go away to make room for a more rewarding PvE aspect.

Promotional Danube runabout, it uses mirror universe markings and has 2 tac consoles instead of a science console.

Will be finished in time for this with mirror stuff, so great there.
Picked up the Mirror Danube so looking forward to giving that a run in.
Thinking about it, I have loads of shuttles, so this is going to be a great Shuttle weekend.
Delta Flyer
Yellowstone
Mirror Danube
Danube
Type 8
Captains Yacht
Kivra
Thoron
Dujhod Chariot
To'Duj Fighter
Toron Shuttle
Kestrel Runabout
Scorpion Fighter
Commanders Gig
Yup its going to be an awesome event
