Lifetime Subscription impossible to purchase?

There is a promotion for lifetime subscriptions right now, but after several hours of trying to figure out the secrets of giving you my money I am unable to accomplish this seemingly simple task.
When clicking "Subscribe Now" I am sent to a login screen at secure.crypticstudios.com
This screen asks me for a user name and password that doesn't appear to like any of my username and passwords.
The reset username/password also doesn't seem to actually send any e-mail to any of my addresses.
I am very new to STO so perhaps I'm not "in the know" of how this is supposed to work.
Anyone have some insight on this?

Did you try to log with you e-mail instead of your username.
Also be aware, you can't make Talaxians and Romulans liberated Borg atm.

I rarely complain about people's English skills, as a non-native speaker I find it in poor taste, but this is literally gibbering mate. I don't understand what you're trying to say. Is it that you've purchased a Life Time Membership, am trying to create a Liberated Borg but can't? Because in that case, that feature is currently bugged and not working for anyone. The Devs know and are working on it, but there's no estimate as to when it might be fixed.
Borg me ok but nothing works.

Same here in the uk, I can buy zen, shop on U-play, steam, Ebay, Amazon, Overclockers, Overclockersuk, Tessco, Lidil, virgin,
and any shop I walk in to buy the items I need.
garaks31 the two links take us to the same page that when we put in or details they take a dollar, a pound or euro and run because it is so small amount that they is no lawyer on this planet insane enough to take this theft to court as it would expose the workings of the credit card company's visa and MasterCard. ie they was contact between the customer and the merchant and no transaction happened someone has to pay a fee and it was the customer who started the transaction the customer has to pay the fee.
The only way for anyone that can only use a pay and go credit card is thought PayPal as Cryptic only has two options to buy the lifetime our monthly sub is by credit card or PayPal. The pay and go credit card is fine to by zen and only zen. It can not be used to prove who you are and that is why it is the pay and go credit cards only downside.
