Large patches preventing play!

Not sure if this is the right place to bring this up. But I'm getting annoyed at more recent large patches taking forever. As a result I am unable to play STO for hours. I have a fast PC system and a good broardband network, but have limited time to play. Thus my frustration when I have been looking forward to getting online for my daily grind just to clock up some more rep marks, and the occasional new content.

    Day 3, still can't play because the 13MB patch has started again! Gets to about 58% received and so the wait begins again! What is going on with these patches, and can't they be sent in smaller packets???
