Game is broken on first day off all new seasons and expansions

I love this game so I hate to be a "complainer" However I am more than frustrated with day 1 of new seasons and new expansions. The game is ALWAYS broken on these days. I am excited to play the new content but I cant because the game has crashed on me over 11 times. What is the point of tribble if the new updates are always broken on the holodeck. Also I kinda feel like back when they used to give out tester tribbles for each new season, the launch days were less buggy. Please fix

    I also love playing, but it gets old, SNR, kicked, locked out for hours. its the same IP that seems to be the bottle neck as for me as well as others, from my trace route 14 830 ms 812 ms 814 ms 198.49.243.253

    If it wasn't full of bugs, lag, rubberbanding, SNRing and DCing, it wouldn't be a proper launch day now would it? :D

    I'm not overly fond of it either.

    My experience has been completely different. I was able to log in without any problems and I played ALL the new content without crashing, rubberbanding or disconnecting a single time. I didn't even encounter a new bug (so far). To me it has been one of the most successful new season launches of all time.

    I only crashed one time because Delta Command bugged all to hell... and I was just getting ships for the Admiralty system on my Romulan. Before and after that... ran like a dream. Well... except when in game voice chat decided to be a PITA when a friend got on. Then again... in game voice chat isn't perfect. *shrug*

      There seems to be a really consistent problem with crashes around if social space maps are loaded (ESD/DS9 orbits e.g.).

      I feel odd reading this as I've had no crashes at all. I live in the UK.

      I tried to reinstall the game and still it crashes, and I am wondering why I am having this issue now when just before the latest update I was playing the game. And my computer is just fine so it is on the part of the latest update. Everytime I think about buying some kind of ship this happens and sorry not going to waste my money on a game I happen to love and keeps happening.

      i just lost some c-store purchases things like fed playable klingon,and i'm sure there are others.......and i'm a LTS​​

      No problems here, but I think that has something to do with my LTS. North American player here.

      At least you guys got on. I get "Unable to start game client: success", every time. Waiting for tech support, they sent me a survey.

      not unusual after a major update like this to get a few teething problems but it usually settles down in a day or two.

      When I think about everything we've been through together,

      maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

       and if that journey takes a little longer,

      so we can do something we all believe in,

       I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

      Well, it is launch day, so I waited til an hour after the reboot, then logged in, ran all my captains through their usual routine of Doffing, Exchanging, some Tholian and Borg alerts, cleaned up a little inventory to make space, and after 4 hours of that (without a hitch, although a few small rubberbands) I logged out and picked up a good book to read.

      I didn't even peek at the new content.

      Because it's launch day.

      Yeah, same here. It felt like a regular weekly update. (Of the kind that go well.)

      Delta Rising started out similar good, of course, and then a few days later there were a lot of issues, IIRC. (But that was still overall more surprising, since it seems there had never been problem-free updates and it was way bigger than a regular season update.)

      But I've only down DOFFIng, Admirality and the new mission. Lots of ship acquisitions and ship dismissals. Got tired of it after going through 2 characters of it.
      Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.

      Yeah, as far as I can tell from Twitter, Reddit, and two threads in the Support fora, that's affecting all Mac users. Last word was about 15 hours ago that they were aware of the problem and working on it. No word on whether they'll extend the giveaway for us.

      I'm running this on a 5 year old laptop, and in the UK, and I've no idea why I haven't had any crashes or lag....sorry I do. I don't have my graphics maxed, nor do I have an ISP that has shoddy connections. Had no problems at all since updated and not even a sniff of a bug!

      Time to get rid of our PC and upgrade for a new one and so your connection. I have been "on" for the second day since last patch and not a single lag or any issue yet. I played the new content as well as a the new PvEs. Sorry not a white knight but can't see this is an issue for me. Might be for EU or other timezones. No issues here on US zone at least for me and YES I'm one of the lucky ones if you want to put it that way. dino1-1.gif​​

      They took all the Purchasable Species off-line in the C-Store due to some problem.
      Give it a few days, all that stuff will be back.

      Game ran fine for me...only problem I had was I had to claim some c-store ships a couple times before they registered with the admirality system.

      Besides...even the big name mmo's usually have some problems on major patch days.

      Welcome to every MMO and almost every other game release. SWTOR? Horrible companion bugs for the new season. Wasteland 2 DC? Crashes, memory leaks, etc. Arkham Knight PC? So bad they had to stop selling it for several months.

      I'm almost afraid to say it, but I didn't have ANY issues at all after logging on yesterday. Zip.

      Was about 10am PST and I managed to get in a few good hours of play without lag or DC's. Even played thru the new Terok Nor mission twice.

      No, I wasn't high.

      It started getting laggy after the 9 consecutive hour playing, but other than that I didn't notice anything majorly wrong with s11.

      oh- that t4 ship token in my inventory is a little weird but other than that...
