Hey everyone,

Just to keep you in the loop, I've been talking to Cryptic about the File Not Found issue. I'll let you know updates as I get them.

    Hey everyone, so I'm running a couple tests. If you're still being affected by the error, I'd like to get some information.
    Go to the directory you have Star Trek Online installed in your computer.

    Go to Star Trek Online.exe and make a shortcut.

    Go to the properties of the Star Trek Online shortcut and add at the end of target the following:
    -console

    Afterwards, start up Star Trek Online using the shortcut. A command prompt console should come up that will bring up some very valuable information about the issue. If you can message me privately or post that here, it would greatly help finding the source of the problem.

    I'm having the same problem with an 88Mb file. It's keeps retrying and getting to different percentages of completion before giving me the error and retrying.

    I've been getting this issue for the last 4 hours, tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing is happening.... I take it this is the reason behind when we logged on eariler the entire screen froze and gameclient exe was not responding....

    Its all as well saying we can play on tribble but thats another 11 gig download...

    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    Update-still not fixed, and uninstalling does not work, so do not bother, you will just be upset to sit through an hour of re downloading game files. If you are Running steam, make sure to verify your game files, which will be if you right click your game and select properties. That wont fix the issue at hand, but it will fix other issues that you may bother the Dev's with.
